As a tributary of the Potomac River, Cherry Run is part of the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay watersheds.

Panther Lick is a hollow located near Grant Town, West Virginia, United States. Approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) in length, the hollow runs from the Paw Paw Creek Valley in Grant Town to the Little Paw Paw Creek valley near McCurdysville. The valley is drained by Panther Lick Run, emptying into Paw Paw Creek.

Diamondville is a former settlement in Butte County, California, United States. It was located 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Paradise. The town was named for James Diamond. In the 1870s, Diamondville was on the stage coach route to Chico, 11 miles (18 km) distant; fares averaged 10 cents per mile. Cretaceous fossils were reported to be found from Butte Creek below Diamondville. In an 1884 report published by the United States government on the production of precious metals in the United States, Diamondville was described as "an old mining town. .. occupied by one or two ranchers and only mined by Chinese."

Mill Run is a 9.1-mile-long (14.6 km) tributary stream of the South Branch Potomac River, belonging to the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. The stream is located in Hampshire County in the Eastern Panhandle of the U.S. state of West Virginia. Mill Run rises on Nathaniel Mountain and flows northeast, then northwest into the South Branch south of Romney near Hampshire Park on South Branch River Road.
