Bertrand Dermoncourt

Bertrand Dermoncourt (born March 1970) is a French journalist, publisher and author of books on music, including classical music. He started in rock fanzines [1] during the 1980s. In 1998, he co-founded the magazine Classica of which he was from the beginning Editorial Director [2] Musical critic of the weekly l'Express , he also directs a collection of biographies of composers published by Actes Sud [3] He is also a member of the editorial board of the collection "Bouquins" [4] at Éditions Robert Laffont and member of the Prix Pelléas jury.

At the request of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, he was artistic advisor for the "Année Debussy" on the occasion of the celebrations marking the centenary of the composer's death in 2018. [5] [6] After leaving Classica, he was appointed director of music at Radio Classique in March 2018. [7]

Lyonel Trouillot is a novelist and poet in French and Haitian Creole, a journalist and a professor of French and Creole literature in Port-au-Prince.

Actes Sud is a French publishing house based in Arles. It was founded in 1978 by author Hubert Nyssen. By 2013, the company, then headed by Nyssen's daughter, Françoise Nyssen, had an annual turnover of 60 million euros and 60 staff members.

Jean-Philippe Blondel is a French novelist and high school English teacher. He was born in Troyes, about 200 km southwest of Paris, France.

Jean Périsson was a French conductor. The 1952 winner of International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors, he was invited by the People’s Republic of China to hold a one-month position with China National Symphony in May 1980. He later conducted and recorded Bizet’s Carmen with Central Opera Theatre of China in 1982.

Serge Rezvani is a French painter, engraver, writer, as well as a songwriter-composer-performer He is also known by his pseudonym Cyrus Bassiak.

Jean-Didier Vincent was a French neurobiologist and neuropsychiatrist. He was Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bordeaux II and then at the University of Paris-Sud. 1991 to 2004 Vincent was Director of the Alfred-Fessard Institute of Neurobiology at the CNRS. He has been a member of both the French Academy of Sciences and the French Academy of Medicine since 18 November 2003.
