Beth Revis is an American author of fantasy and science fiction, mainly for the young adult audience. She is best known for the Across the Universe trilogy, which consists of the novels Across the Universe, A Million Suns and Shades of Earth. [1] Revis resides in North Carolina. [2]
Revis' first published novel was Across the Universe , [3] which debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List for Children's Chapter Books at #7 in January 2011. [4] There have been two sequels to the book: A Million Suns (January 2012) and Shades of Earth (January 2013), as well as a standalone novel set in the same universe, The Body Electric (2014).
She has also written short stories in the same universe that appear in After, edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling, [5] and Shards and Ashes, edited by Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong. [6]
In 2015, Revis published a series of books on writing and publishing, called the Paper Hearts series. The series began as a collection of informational essays and comments in response to questions aspiring writers had, which she had originally posted on Wattpad. When it gained immense popularity, Revis rewrote the collection into three separate books: Volume 1: Some Writing Advice, Volume 2: Some Publishing Advice, and Volume 3: Some Marketing Advice. [7]
In July, 2016 Revis's second standalone novel, A World Without You, was published by Razorbill. [8]
Her work has also been featured in various young adult anthologies and compilations.

Will Shetterly is an American writer of fantasy and science fiction best known for his novel Dogland (1997). The novel is inspired by his childhood at the tourist attraction Dog Land owned by his parents. He won the Minnesota Book Award for Fantasy & Science Fiction for his novel Elsewhere (1991), and was a finalist with Nevernever (1993); both books are set in Terri Windling's The Borderland Series shared universe. He has also written short stories for various Borderland anthologies.

Silver Birch, Blood Moon is an anthology of fantasy stories edited by Terri Windling and Ellen Datlow. It is one of a series of anthologies edited by the pair centered on re-told fairy tales. It was published by Avon Books in May 1999. The anthology contains, among several other stories, the Pat York short story "You Wandered Off Like a Foolish Child To Break Your Heart and Mine", which was original to the anthology and was nominated for a Nebula Award for Best Short Story. The anthology itself won the 2000 World Fantasy Award for Best Anthology.
