Beverley Park is a public park situated in the New Malden area of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south-western London, England. It is the location where the Pyl Brook joins the Beverley Brook.

The 3.9 kilometre East Pyl Brook also rises in Sutton and flows through Merton, joining the main Pyl east of Grand Drive in Raynes Park.

Dollis Brook runs through the London Borough of Barnet in north London. It is a tributary of the River Brent, which is itself a tributary of the River Thames. The Dollis Valley Greenwalk follows almost all of Dollis Brook, apart from a short section at the beginning which passes through private land, and the London Loop follows it as far as Barnet Lane. The name Dollis is probably derived from the Middle English word 'dole', meaning the shares of land in the common field.

The Big Gay Out was a short-lived live popular music event, dance party, and funfair for the LGBT community in Finsbury Park, London. It was held twice, in 2004 as part of London's Gay Pride, and again in 2005 separately from London Pride. There was no Big Gay Out in 2006 due to the Europride celebrations, and a third event planned for 2007 was never held. A portion of the profits made went to charities including Stonewall.
