Beykoz 1908 SKD or commonly Beykoz 1908 is a sports club of Istanbul's historic Anatolian part district Beykoz, which was founded in 1908. Its colours are yellow and black.

The club was founded as Mümeresat-i Bedenye Şubesi, and was renamed Beykoz Şark İdman Yurdu in 1911. In the year 1921 it merged with Beykoz Zindeler İdman Yurdu and took its current name. The club's football team returned to the TFF Second League after 17 years, at the end of the 2007 – 2008 season.

The club's basketball team TTNet Beykoz competed in the Turkish Basketball League.

The Turkish Basketball First League, also called TBL, is the second-tier level league of professional club basketball in Turkey. The league was previously known as Turkish Basketball Second League (TB2L).

The Ankara Football League was founded as a regional football league for Ankara based clubs in 1922. In the period from 1924 to 1935, the winners of the Ankara League qualified for the former Turkish Football Championship. In 1937 the first national league in Turkish football was introduced. The top two placed teams of the Ankara League qualified for the National Division, which took place after the conclusion of the regional leagues each season. After the introduction of professionalism the name of the league became Ankara Professional Football League in the 1955–56 season.

The Eskişehir Football League was founded as a regional football league for Eskişehir based clubs in 1924. Although it was held a few years before 1924 already, it gained official status in 1924 as the national football association was founded in 1923 and began organising the regional leagues. In the period from 1924 to 1935, the winners of the Eskişehir League qualified for the former Turkish Football Championship. In 1940 Eskişehir Demirspor won the Turkish championship against Fenerbahçe, marking a turning point in Turkish football as clubs from Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir were the dominating sides in those decades. By achieving this feat, they were included in the 1941 National Division, which included only the clubs of the three major regional leagues until that point.

Altınordu İdman Yurdu were a Turkish sports club based in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1909 under the name Progres FC, the football department of the club became champions in the Istanbul Football League in the 1916–17 and 1917–18 seasons. The club colours were red and navy blue.

Mersin İdman Yurdu, was a Turkish sports club from Mersin, Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean Region. The team played in the Turkish first division for 15 seasons, and after the 1983–84 season the football team played in the Turkish second and third divisions. The team was promoted to the Turkish second level division after the 2008–09 season. MİY became the champions of the Turkish second division during the 2010–11 season and earned promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig during the 2011–12 season. Previous ground of the team was 10,125 capacity Tevfik Sırrı Gür Stadium. In 2013, their new 25,534 person capacity stadium, Mersin Arena, was inaugurated on 23 March 2013 with a TFF First League match against Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor. The Trabzon Football League was founded as a regional football league for Trabzon based clubs in 1922. In the period from 1924 to 1935, the winners of the Trabzon League qualified for the former Turkish Football Championship. In the following period from 1940 to 1951, the Trabzon league champions qualified for the qualifying stages of the national championship. The city of Trabzon was home to a major rivalry between local clubs İdman Ocağı and İdman Gücü, who fought for the championship title in numerous seasons. The rivalry and relationship between those two teams has been often compared to that of the renowned Intercontinental Derby in Turkey.

The Çukurova Football League, also known as the Adana Football League, was founded as a regional football league for Adana and Mersin based clubs in 1924. The name of the league comes from Çukurova region. In some years clubs from Maraş and Malatya also participated in the league. In Adana, the football game was played during the 1910s. Adana Türk Gücü were the first club in Adana founded in 1913. The league was played within a year until 1936.

The 1917–18 season was Galatasaray SK's 13th in existence and the club's 9th consecutive season in the Istanbul Football League (IFL). During World War I, Galatasaray SK's players joined the Ottoman Army. Because of this, Galatasaray SK sometimes could not find any player, sometimes German soldiers merged Galatasaray SK to build a team. Nevertheless, they lost the matches by decision.

Adana Demirspor Women's Football is the women football section of Adana Demirspor, a major sports club based in Adana. The department was formed from the women's football department of Adana İdman Yurdu which merged with Adana Demirspor in August 2022.
