Beyond the Heights is a 2015 Pakistani documentary film [1] directed by Jawad Sharif, [2] produced and written by Mirza Ali Baig under the banner Bipolar Films. The film is about 21 aged mountaineer Samina Baig [3] who became first Pakistani woman reaching the summit of Mount Everest. [4] The film stars Samina Baig herself accompanied by her brother Mirza Ali Baig who also became the youngest Pakistani man to conquer the Mount Everest at 29. [5] The film is about the struggle of a young woman who overcomes all challenges to accomplish her dream. It gives insight to the life of small town girl who bravely faces all hardships and touches new horizons with strong will power and motivation. [6]

Hassan Sadpara PP was a Pakistani mountaineer and adventurer from Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. He is the first Pakistani to have climbed six eight-thousanders including Mount Everest (8848m), K2 (8611m), Gasherbrum I (8080m), Gasherbrum II (8034m), Nanga Parbat and Kangchenjunga (8586m). He is also credited for summiting five of the eight-thousanders without supplemental oxygen. Contrary to initial reports, Hassan Sadpara clarified that he used supplemental oxygen during his Everest ascent due to bad weather.

Samina Khayal Baig is a Pakistani mountaineer who climbed Mount Everest in 2013, all Seven Summits by 2014, and K2 in 2022. She is the first Pakistani woman to climb Everest, K2 and the Seven Summits. She climbed Mt. Everest at the age of 21.

She is first Pakistani woman to climb an 8000 meter mountain within Pakistan. She is the first Pakistani woman to climb Nanga Parbat, G-I, G-II, Lhotse, Manaslu, Broad Peak, Annapurna, Makalu, Cho Oyu. She is one of the ten mountaineers worldwide and the only Pakistani who climbed multiple above 8000m in less than six months. Kiani is also the fastest Pakistani to climb all eleven 8,000-metre peaks in less than three years.

Sirbaz Khan is a Pakistani mountaineer. He is the first Pakistani to summit 13 of the eight-thousanders, which comprise the world's 14 highest peaks.
