Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute Of Management & Research, New Delhi Established in 1992, Bharati Vidyapeeth University Institute of Management And Research (BVIMR), New Delhi endures the reputation of being one of the institutes imparting education in management. As a constituent unit amongst 182 institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth family, which was founded by Hon’ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam in 1964, the institute has over the past few years emerged. The institute is under the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVU), Pune as approved by Govt. of India on the recommendation of UGC under Section 3 of UGC Act vide its letter notification No. F. 9 – 16 / 2004 – U3 dated 25 February 2005. It has been offering management & IT programmes.

University Grants Commission is a statutory body under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. It was set up in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges. The UGC headquarters are in New Delhi, and it has six regional centres in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Bangalore. A proposal to replace it with another new regulatory body called HECI is under consideration by the Government of India. The UGC provides doctoral scholarships to all those who clear JRF in the National Eligibility Test. On an average, each year 725 crore (US$91 million) is spent on doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships by the commission.

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering (BVCoE) is a private engineering college in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, India, established in the year 1990. The campus is located in CBD Belapur and is founded by the Bharati Vidyapeeth group. The college is permanently affiliated to University Of Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. UG courses are currently NBA accredited.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College was established in 1978. It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, recognized by Bar Council of India and the University Grant Commission. The college is also recognized under 2f & 12b of UGC Act 1956. The college is reaccredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Y. V. Chandrachud then chief justice of India. The foundation stone of the New Law College building was laid down in the year 2004 at the hands of the chief justice of India K. G. Balakrishnan. The new building of the law college was inaugurated in the year 2005 at the hands of Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, also while serving as chief justice of India. The college's silver jubilee was celebrated in 2003.
