Bhim Gurung (born 22 April 1981) is a Nepalese male sky runner, who won four races of the Skyrunning World Series international circuit, also setting the record in 2016 Kima Trophy. [1]

They are densely populated in Manang, Mustang, Kaski, Lamjung, Gorkha, Parbat and Syangja district. According to the 2011 Census of Nepal, the total population of Gurung is 522,641.

The Communist Party of Nepal (Mashal) was an underground communist party in Nepal. CPN (Mashal) was formed in November 1984, following a split in the Communist Party of Nepal (Masal). The new party was founded at a congress in Gorakhpur, India. It was difficult to identify any major ideological difference between the two factions, and probably the split was caused by dissatisfaction with Singh's authoritarian leadership methods. Mohan Baidya became general secretary of the new party. Chhetri, historically called Kshettriya or Kshetriya or Khas are Nepali speakers of Khas community some of whom trace their origin to migration from medieval India. Chhetri was a caste of administrators, governor and military elites in medieval Khas Kingdom and Gorkha Kingdom. The nobility of Gorkha Kingdom were mainly based from Chhetri families and they had a strong presence in civil administration affairs. The bulk of Prime Ministers of Nepal before democratization of Nepal belonged to this caste as a result of old Gorkhali aristocracy. Gorkha-based aristocratic Chhetri families were Pande dynasty, Basnyat dynasty, Thapa dynasty and Kunwars.

Manang Marshyangdi Club is a Nepali professional football club based in Swayambhu, Kathmandu, that competes in the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. The club is one of the most successful clubs in Nepalese football, in terms of winning. They have won record 8 National Championship Titles. Historically, they have a fierce rivalry with Three Star Club and Nepal Police Club, a departmental team. The other rival includes New Road Team.

Interim legislature of Nepal

Nepal's King Gyanendra dissolved the Parliament of Nepal in 2002. and on January 15, 2007 a new Interim legislature was formed. The old parliament was elected in 1999. The new interim legislature consisted of members of the old parliament as well as new members appointed by an agreement between the Seven Party Alliance and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).

Nepathya

Nepathya is a Nepalese folk rock band that was formed in the early 1990s by three students from Pokhara while studying in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nepathya was formed by Deepak Rana, Bhim Poon and Amrit Gurung. They started recording songs which after 25 years have made them the greatest band ever of Nepal. Nepathya is best known for blending folk melodies with modern western-influenced rock music. Nepathya has enjoyed both commercial and critical success. Nepathya is well known for contemporary tunes that have strong ties with indigenous music and songs sung using regional dialects from rural Nepal.

Ciney Gurung is a singer, composer, and songwriter from Nepal. She began her career with the hit songs "Timro Mayama" and "Mann". In 2009, Radio Kantipur named Gurung the best female pop singer of the year. Gurung married musician, Rojesh Shrestha, in 2005 and they have a daughter together. Gurung also participated in Melancholy, an environmental song by 365 Nepali artists which set a Guinness World Record for the "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording". It was written, composed and directed by environmentalist Nipesh DHAKA.

Dr. Bhim Bahadur Rawal commonly known as Bhim Rawal is a CPN-UML presently Nepal Communist Party politician. He is former Deputy Prime Minister & Defence Minister of Nepal in Oli cabinet, 2015 and former Minister of Home Affairs of Nepal in Madhav Nepal cabinet. He was also Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Girija Prasad Koirala cabinet from 1998 - 1999 and Minister of State for Commerce, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Manmohan Adhikari Cabinet. He was the vice chairman of Communist Party of Nepal. He was taken as prospective future Prime Minister and CPN-UML chairman by his cadres during 2017 Nepalese legislative election campaign. He won the election from Achham 1 defeating Bharat Swar. He is currently Standing Committee Member of Nepal Communist Party and Sudurpashchim Province Committee Incharge of Nepal Communist Party.

"Melancholy" is an environmentally-themed song sung by 365 Nepali artists. This song was intended to promote an environmental message by breaking the Guinness World Records for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording", which it successfully did. It was written, music composed and directed by environmentalist Nipesh Dhaka. The song was recorded as a single on 19 May 2016. The recording sessions were inaugurated by Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli at 8 am and continued until 6 pm. The song was released on 2 September 2017 by President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Army Officer's Club, Kathmandu.
