Bhima Jewels Comedy Festival, commonly referred to as Comedy Festival is a comedy reality show which is sponsored by Bhima Jewels and was repeatedly aired in Mazhavil Manorama four times a day. [1] It is anchored by Rachana Narayanankutty and Devika Nambiar hosted the second season . The judges vary because of film shootings which lead to their inconvenience to arrive at the shooting of the programme on time. The chief judges are Siddique, Urvashi, and Ajaykumar.
The time of the programme is 30 minutes. The program has two repeats in the morning and evening everyday including weekends.
The programme has two rounds. Each round has a topic associated with it. The skits have to be presented by teams according to the topics. The rounds are :-

Kaviyoor Ponnamma is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She has also acted in TV serials and commercials and has playback singing credits in few films. Ponnamma is a four-time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner. Her sister Kaviyoor Renuka was also an actress. Often called as the Mother to all actors, she has acted as mother of almost all actors in her career panning over decades. At the age of 20, she played the mother of Sathyan and Madhu in the 1965 movie Thommente Makkal. She gained critical acclaim for acting as the mother of the actor Mohanlal.
Samvritha Sunil is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films. She made her debut in 2004 through the film Rasikan directed by Lal Jose before which she had also appeared as a junior artist in the film Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu.
Jyotsna Radhakrishnan is an Indian playback singer. She predominantly works in 12+ languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She has sung more than 1000 songs. She is based in Thrissur, Kerala. Jyotsna gained wider recognition for singing popular songs such as “Karuppinazhaku” from Swapnakoodu (2003), “Themma Themma Themmadikkatte” from Rain Rain Come Again (2004) and "Raftara" from Lucifer (2019).
Lal Jose is an Indian director, actor, producer and distributor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He started his career as an Assistant director in the Malayalam cinema. His directorial debut was with the 1998 film Oru Maravathoor Kanavu.
Siddique is an Indian actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Along with appearing in over 350 Malayalam films, he has also acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films. He is known for having played a wide range of starring and supporting roles, including comic characters, romantic leads, anti-heroes and villains.
Siddique Ismail is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam movie Ramji Rao Speaking in 1989. As a screenwriter, he made his debut in the Malayalam movie Pappan Priyappetta Pappan in 1986. His last film to hit the screens was Big Brother.
P. Suresh Unnithan is an Indian film and television director who works in Malayalam films. His most popular works are Mukha Chithram, Utsavamelam, Jaathakam, Bhagyavan, Aardram.
M. P. Michael, better known by his stage name Lal, is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter, producer and distributor who predominantly works in Malayalam and Tamil films and in a few Telugu films. Lal has won several awards, including a National Film Award – Special Mention for acting (2012), two Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor, and a Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Malayalam (2008). He is the owner of Lal Media Arts, a post-production studio.
Kalpana Ranjani, better known mononymously as Kalpana, was an Indian actress who appeared in South Indian films, predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil. Kalpana has acted in over 300 films in various South Indian languages. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Thanichalla Njan (2012) at the 60th National Film Awards. Onnum Onnum Moonu is an Indian celebrity talk show hosted by singer Rimy Tomy on Mazhavil Manorama. The first season of the show began airing on 7 the April 2013 and has completed four seasons.
Alencier Ley Lopez is an Indian film and theatre actor, who appears in Malayalam films. Lopez made his debut in the 1998 film Daya; and he worked in films like Annayum Rasoolum (2013), Njan Steve Lopez (2013), and Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016). At the 48th Kerala State Film Awards, he won the Best Character Actor Award for his performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum (2017).
Parvathi T., also known as Maala Parvathi, is an Indian actress, who appears in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu films.
Manju Pathrose is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam television and films. She was a contestant along with her husband in the reality TV show Veruthe Alla Bharya (2012) on Mazhavil Manorama.
