Bholari (Urdu : بھولاری) is a small town in Thatta District, Sindh, Pakistan. The coordinates of the town are 25° 19' 0" North, 68° 13' 0" Eas. Its original name (with diacritics) is Bholāri. [1] The town is also connected to the railway network via a railway station, Bholari railway station.
Thatta District is located in the southern area, locally called Laar, of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Its capital is Thatta. It is home to a large necropolis of Makli. In 2013, several talukas were separated to form the new Sujawal District.
Sindh is one of the four provinces of Pakistan, in the southeast of the country, and the historical home of the Sindhi people. Sindh is the third largest province of Pakistan by area, and second largest province by population after Punjab. Sindh is bordered by Balochistan province to the west, and Punjab province to the north. Sindh also borders the Indian states of Gujarat and Rajasthan to the east, and Arabian Sea to the south. Sindh's landscape consists mostly of alluvial plains flanking the Indus River, the Thar desert in the eastern portion of the province closest to the border with India, and the Kirthar Mountains in the western part of Sindh.

The Pakistan Air Force's new PAF Base Bholari was inaugurated in January 2018. [2] [3] The base hosts the Number 19 Multirole Squadron equipped with F-16 multirole fighter aircraft.
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is the aerial warfare uniform service branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces, tasked primarily with the aerial defence of Pakistan, with a secondary role of providing air support to the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Navy. The PAF has a tertiary role of providing strategic air transport and logistics capability to Pakistan. As of 2017, per IISS, the PAF has 65,000 personnel. It operates 883 aircraft.
PAF Base Bholari in district Jamshoro is an operational base which was inaugurated recently. As of now only 19 sqn is there and another sqn from Paf base Masroor will also move there after the completion of support facilities.

The PAC JF-17 Thunder, or CAC FC-1 Xiaolong, is a lightweight, single-engine, multi-role combat aircraft developed jointly by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China. The JF-17 can be used for aerial reconnaissance, ground attack and aircraft interception. Its designation "JF-17" by Pakistan is short for "Joint Fighter-17", while the designation and name "FC-1 Xiaolong" by China means "Fighter China-1 Fierce Dragon".
Risalpur is a city in Nowshera District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, on the Nowshera-Mardan Road. It is nearly 45 km from Peshawar and 15 km from Mardan and is located at 34°4'52N 71°58'21E. In a basin some 1014 feet above sea level, it is bounded on the south and west by the Kabul and Kalpani rivers, respectively. The famous Khyber Pass lies 90 kilometers to the north.
The Pakistan Air Force Academy is an accredited four-year military academy which provides undergraduate education to officer candidates for the Pakistan Air Force.The eligible and selected candidates from all around Pakistan are sent to PAF Academy Risalpur for flying training. It is located in the town of Risalpur in Nowshera District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, it is a premier cadet training institution of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) which offers academic professional degrees. Its role is the training of General Duty Pilots (GDP), Aeronautical and Avionics Engineers and the initial training of other Ground Branch cadets. Cadets of all branches join the academy following a recommendation by the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) of Pakistan and the Air Headquarters Special Selection Board for Short Service Commission candidates. Graduates of the Academy's four-year program receive a Bachelor of Science degree, and most are commissioned as flying officers (lieutenants) in the Pakistan Air Force.

PAF Base Samungli is a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) airbase located near Quetta, in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Originally used as a forward operating location during exercises and wartime, it was converted into a main operating base during the 1970s. Samungli currently houses two PAF squadrons flying the Chengdu F-7PG and CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder combat aircraft.

PAF Camp Badaber, formerly known as Peshawar Air Station is a non-flying air force base of the Pakistan Air Force and a former United States Air Force–Central Intelligence Agency listening post, used by the 6937th Communications Group from July 17, 1959 until being evacuated on 7 January 1970. when the facility was formally closed. It was located in Badaber, a remote area about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of the city of Peshawar, Pakistan.

Air Commodore Muhammad Mahmood Alam SJ was a Bengali Pakistani fighter pilot who was officially credited by the Pakistanis with having downed nine Indian Air Force aircraft during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, including five Hawker Hunter aircraft on one sortie on 7 September 1965. However, many scholars including retired PAF Air Commodore Sajad S. Haider have debunked Alam's claim regarding the sortie on 7 September 1965. He was a F-86 Sabre flying ace as per Pakistan Air Force records. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Jurat, the nation's third highest military award and Bar for his actions during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965.
Air Headquarters (AHQ) is the Headquarters of Pakistan Air Force, located in Islamabad. Initially it was established at Peshawar on 15 August 1947. Later it was moved to Karachi on 1 June 1948 and back to Peshawar in 1960. In 1983 construction of Air headquarters was started at Islamabad after it was decided to have all the armed forces headquarters in the capital city. On 1 August 2005 the headquarters was moved from Chaklala, Rawalpindi to Islamabad. During the construction of the headquarters building at Islamabad the headquarters offices were housed at PAF base Chaklala.

On 18 September 2015, 14 militants tried to storm a Pakistan Air Force base in Badaber, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan killing 29 Pakistanis including a Pakistan Army's Quick Response Force's commander Captain Asfand Yar. All militants were killed in state's retaliation, according to official claims. It was the first time that the militants came with a new strategy; to engage the Pakistani military in a long-term battle with excessive ammunition. PAF Camp Badaber is located just about 48 kilometres (30 mi) east of Afghan border.
