Matokhar is a village, Panchayat and Tourist attraction and religious centre called Matokhar Dargah for people of Sheikhpura district. The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar visited here in 2019 for Jal Jeevan Hariyali campaign. Nitish Kumar bedsheeted the Dargah.
Hazrat Khwaja Syed Ishaque Maghrabi was an Indian Islamic preacher. His tomb is located in Matokhar in Sheikhpura district. His shrine has been bedrocked by The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, Rajya Sabha member, RCP Singh, Bihar Minority Welfare Minister, Mohd Zama Khan and Sheikhpura MLAs Randhir Kumar Soni and Vijay Samrat and Barbigha MLA Sudarshan Kumar.
Rajnikant Kumar is student leader from All India Student Federation and Zila Parshad member in Khagaria, Bihar. He is the Bihar State Vice President of the All India Students Federation (AISF) since March 2021. Rajnikant came into prominence after he was arrested during the COVID lockdown for protesting against the closure of educational institutions and the lack of support mechanism. He contested the Panchayat Elections from Jail for Khagaria Zilla Parishad Area No. 1 and won by 8738 votes. He received bail from Patna High Court after winning the elections.
Nivedita Singh is an Indian politician who serving as a nominated Member of the Bihar Legislative Council since 2021 representing the Bharatiya Janata Party. She hails from Sasaram. She is daughter–in–law of Prabhavati Singh, who was first female MLA of Ramgarh.
