Abidemi Ayodeji Ogunmolu, also known as Bidemi Olaoba, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and music composer. He is known for singing Gospel HighLife music in a Fuji Style. [1]
Olaoba was born on in a Christian home in Lagos, Nigeria, into a family of six. He comes from Ikale Okitipupa, Ondo State. [2] Bidemi studied Civil Engineering at the Yaba College Of Technology, Lagos and Economics [3] at the University Of Lagos, Nigeria.
Olaoba Started his musical career as a worship leader in the choir at Christ Apostolic Church [4] and became involved in the CAC Music Ministry and Redeemed Christian Church of God. After beginning his official career, Olaoba released his first single, "Final Say", in 2016. [5] He became known for his popular phrase "The Bible Says". [6] [7] [8]
Olaoba was invited to perform Marathon Praise, [9] [10] an event organized by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and then gained popularity. He has six studio singles, two live performance compilations, and collaborations with gospel artists. Olaoba travelled to Europe, America and African nations, he held virtual concerts and is the pioneer of the virtual concert Unrestricted Praise, [11] [12] which started in 2020 and featured gospel artists including Buchi, Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul, Adeleke Adeboye, Eben, and Samie Okposo.
Olaoba performed at Nigeria's biggest gospel gatherings, including the Marathon Messiah's Praise [9] concert by the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Festival Of Life [13] (Dubai, Dublin, Italy and United Kingdom), MASS, HI-impact Praise, and COZA.

Gospel songs are a kind of motivational Christian music that has become a major part of Nigerian music. In the 1960s the Evangelical Church of West Africa Choir was popular, and in the early 1970s Bola Aare, Ebenezer Obey and later, Panam Percy Paul, Onyeka Onwenu, Tope Alabi, and Kefee were notable. Also, in the early 1970s and 80s Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa's choir, The Christian Redeemed Voices were known for their gospel sound. Idahosa would purchase instruments for the choir.

Tope Alabi obtained a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication from the polytechnic of Ibadan, after graduating in the year 1990, she worked as a correspondent at NTA in Ibadan. She started singing at the younger age, when she joined the choir in her local Catholic church at the age of seven. Tope has ability to produce different traditional and modern beats. She had composed and released several songs and couple with Christian slangs that made her different.
