Big Bang is the debut album by the American metal band Magdallan, released in 1992 through Intense Records. Big Bang was nominated for one GMA Dove Award for Best Metal/Hard Rock Album in 1992, [1] but did not win.

Patrick Allan Torpey was an American musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band Mr. Big, as well as playing for other various singers and artists such as John Parr, Belinda Carlisle, Robert Plant, Montrose, Richie Kotzen and the Knack. Torpey also recorded with Impellitteri and Ted Nugent.

Lesperance was a guitarist in the Oshawa metal band Minotaur before forming Harem Scarem with Blind Vengeance vocalist Harry Hess in 1987.

Silk + Steel was the second album released by American rock band Giuffria in 1986. It was produced by Pat Glasser, who was at the time also the producer of Giuffria's MCA labelmates Night Ranger. The band covered "I Must Be Dreaming", a Willy DeVille song that went to No. 52 on the Billboard Hot 100. The record's peak position on The Billboard 200 was No. 60 on June 21, 1986. "Love You Forever" was released as the second single but failed to chart on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart even though they appeared on American Bandstand to promote the single.

Shout was an American rock band formed in 1987 by Ken Tamplin. Musically, the band was similar to Journey and Styx, with the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music describing them as "more competent than Stryper". Cornerstone magazine wrote that Shout was more straightforward than other Christian metal bands such as Bloodgood. The band garnered a Dove Award after their breakup in 1989.
Die Happy was an American Christian rock band. The group was formed in 1990 when Vengeance Rising members Larry Farkas, Doug Thieme, Glen Mancaruso, and Roger Dale Martin split the band, citing unrest with that band's front man and vocalist, Roger Martinez. They hired Robyn Kyle Basauri, formerly of Jaguar, as a vocalist and he officially joined the band after the release of their eponymous debut.
Hollywood Zen is Velvet Revolver and ex-Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum's first solo release. It draws on his own experiences with touring, addictions, relationships and his hometown of Los Angeles. Co-produced with Lanny Cordola, and engineered and mixed by Kevin Smith, it features musical appearances by several of Sorum's friends, most notably former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan playing guitar and bass on various tracks. The recording of the album was completed while Velvet Revolver was putting together their finalized line-up.
