Big Brother 2014 is the ninth Swedish series and the seventh Norwegian series, and the third joined season between the two countries of the reality series Big Brother . It began on 31 August 2014 on the Swedish channel Kanal 9 and the Norwegian channel FEM, with the season being hosted by Adam Alsing and Pia Lykke. [1] The Big Brother house is located in Spånga, Sweden. [2]
Roughly a day before the season's start, four hopeful contestants went inside The Box, situated in the House's backyard. There, two of them would become real housemates on Big Brother 2014 after the season premiere. The four contestants were (with the two in bold who became real housemates):
During Week 2 though, Sondre got chosen by the women to enter the House and became a housemate on Day 8. And on Day 11, Krissy got chosen as well into the House.
During the second week, the women were in control choosing new housemates to enter the House. All the potential housemates appearing (with the ones in bold who became real housemates) are listed down here:
Despite not being chosen, both Jenny Fr. and Ioana entered the House during Week 3. And at the live eviction night on Week 7, Henrik entered the House.
On Day 1, fourteen housemates entered the house, and two more entered after midnight of Day 1. On Day 7, Thomas entered the House as a replacement for the ejected housemate Ståle. During week 2 between Day 8-12, five more housemates entered the House. On Day 16, Ioana entered the house. On Day 33 at the live eviction night, Malin entered. And on Day 47, Henrik and Johanna entered the house, making the total of housemates up to 24.

The Sweden and Norway joint edition of Big Brother is a reality show shown on Kanal 5 in Sweden, and FEM in Norway, in which a number of contestants live in an isolated house trying to avoid being evicted by the public with the aim of winning a large cash prize at the end of the run. It is based on the Big Brother series produced by Endemol.
Big Brother México is a reality television series based on the international Big Brother format produced in the Netherlands by Endemol. Big Brother México was launched by Televisa in 2002. Before its debut, the idea of being watched twenty-four hours a day by a camera was shocking to some in Mexican society. The series was successful, and it was followed by a special edition called Big Brother VIP with Mexican celebrities from show business and even politics.
Big Brother Portugal is the Portuguese version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother, produced by Endemol for Portuguese channel TVI. TVI launched the show in 2000. Since its beginning, it has been a great success.
Loft Story is a Quebec television series broadcast on the TQS television network, and was an adaptation of the show Loft Story in France, which itself was an adaptation of the Big Brother franchise. TQS became V and replaced Loft Story with a new Big Brother series for Quebec in 2010.
Big Brother or Big Brother Sverige was the Swedish version of the Big Brother reality television franchise created by producer John de Mol Jr. in 1999. The show followed a number of contestants, known as housemates, who were isolated from the outside world for an extended period of time in a custom-built house. Each week, one of the housemates was evicted by a public vote, with the last housemate remaining winning a cash prize.
Big Brother Danmark was the Danish version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother created by producer John de Mol. The series debuted on Danish television in January 2001 and was axed in June 2014, due to poor ratings.
Secret Story 2009 is the third edition of the French reality show Secret Story. It began airing on TF1 on June 19, 2009 and continue to air until September 25, 2009, lasting 99 days, and is presented by Benjamin Castaldi, who presented Loft Story and the first two seasons of Secret Story.
The fourth season of the reality game show Pinoy Big Brother, subtitled Unlimited premiered on the ABS-CBN network on October 29, 2011, and ran for 155 days until March 31, 2012.
Big Brother 2012 is the sixth season of the Swedish version of the reality television series, Big Brother. This season was launched on Sunday 19 February 2012, and aired on TV11 for 106 days with the finale held on 3 June 2012. The same host from last season, Gry Forssell, returned as host to this season. The season was won by the 29-year-old mother of two Hanna Johansson.
The fourth season of the Danish reality television series Big Brother was produced by Endemol and premiered on January 30, 2012, on Kanal 5. The season was hosted by Marie Egede and lasted 100 days with the winner receiving a prize of 500,000 Danish krones (DKK).
Veliki Brat 2015, also known as Veliki Brat 5 is the fifth season of the television reality show Veliki Brat, the Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Macedonian joint version of Big Brother. This season is the fifth season of the show in Serbia and seventh overall in Croatia - for both a first season after the show went on a two-year hiatus. The show is broadcast by RTL for Croatia, B92 and Prva TV for Serbia, OBN and BN for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sitel for Macedonia and Prva for Montenegro.
Big Brother 2015, also known as Big Brother 16 and Big Brother: Timebomb, was the sixteenth series of the British reality television series Big Brother, hosted by Emma Willis and narrated by Marcus Bentley. The series launched on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 12 May 2015 and ended on 16 July 2015, a week earlier than planned. This was the earliest launch of a Big Brother series since the show's inception in 2000. It is the fifth regular series and the thirteenth series of Big Brother overall to air on Channel 5, and is the first regular series to air in May since Big Brother 8 in 2007. It is also the first series to air in Ireland since its move to Channel 5 in 2011. On 2 February 2015, it was revealed that Willis had stepped down as a host on the show's spin-off series Big Brother's Bit on the Side, though Rylan Clark will continue.
The tenth season of Big Brother Suomi premiered on 24 August 2014 and was screened on Sub. Mari Sainio continued as the main host for the program, known as Big Brother Talk Show, while Sauli Koskinen hosted the companion show Big Brother Extra. The previous season saw celebrities as contestants while this edition reverted to casting civilians as contestants. The contestants, also known as Housemates, lived inside the Big Brother House with the goal to be the last housemate and win €100,000. The program concluded on 14 November 2014 where Andte Gaup-Juuso was crowned the winner with 65.39% of the public vote to win. Big Brother Suomi went on a five-year hiatus after the conclusion of this season before being revived for an eleventh season that premiered on 1 September 2019 on Jim and Nelonen.
Big Brother Slovenija 2015 is the third main season of the Slovenian version of Big Brother, which is broadcast on Kanal A. This is the first civilian season of Big Brother to air in Slovenia since 2008. The show also had a celebrity season in 2010, however, it aired on another channel, POP TV. Though the season launched on March 6, 2015, three housemates entered prior to the launch. These three housemates were already living in a Secret Room, without the audience or housemates knowledge. The host of the show this season Ana Maria Mitič. Due to budget restraints this season the house is not located in Slovenia. Instead, it is located in the old Veliki Brat house, in Serbia which was home to the Balkan version of the show. The Season was won by 21-year-old Pia Filipčič
Big Brother Angola: Tesouro is the Angolan version of the Big Brother reality television franchise produced by Endemol for DStv. The season began on 25 May 2014 and ran until 27 July 2014, with a total of 64 days. The show is hosted by Dicla Burity.
The second part of Pinoy Big Brother: 737 began airing on August 8, 2015, as part of the tenth year season of Big Brother in the Philippines. This is unofficially called a regular edition since this batch of housemates are ages 18 and above. It is hosted by Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo and Enchong Dee. The show airs on ABS-CBN at 10:00 p.m. (PST) every Mondays to Sundays.

Also, a few Norwegian housemates would also be included on the cast.
Gran Hermano is the Spanish-language adaptation of the reality television franchise Big Brother, broadcast in the United States on Telemundo and produced by Endemol. The series was announced in May 2015 during the network's upfront presentation for the 2015-16 television season in New York City.
Big Brother 6, also known as Big Brother: A Revolução, is the sixth season of the Portuguese version of the reality show Big Brother. It's the second original format of Big Brother to air in 2020, one month after the fifth season ended on 2 August 2020. It was also revealed on 5 July 2020 during the live eviction show that the audition for Big Brother 6 was open and the show will be called "Big Brother: A Revolução". The show is featuring a new format and rules, housemates will have to be more interactive and competitive in the house if they want to win.
Big Brother Sverige 2021 is the ninth and final season of the Swedish Big Brother.
