HaAh HaGadol 4 (Hebrew : האח הגדול 4; lit. The Big Brother 4) is the fourth season of the Israeli version of the reality show Big Brother .
The season began broadcasting on 1 January 2012, and ended on 2 April 2012. Seventeen housemates entered the house at the premiere, and another housemate joined after 22 days. Another three housemates joined after 45 days. the premiere episode scored an unprecedented 45% on the ratings chart.
The season showcases, among other personalities, a contestant with an intense hatred for Arabs, a pro-Palestinian sympathizer, a newlywed couple, and a blind man with his guide dog. [1]
Religion, politics and ethnicity have been among the themes to generate tension between contestants in the Big Brother house during the fourth season.
Yekutiel "Kuti" Sebbag refused to eat food cooked by Avivit Bar-Zohar one Sabbath eve, leading Eran Tartakovsky to call Sebbag a whiny hypocrite but also leading Bar-Zohar to go on a fast on account of preventing a Jew from eating on the Sabbath. [2]
Controversial remarks made by Saar Szekely in reference to Israeli policy in the West Bank drew criticism from the Israeli settlement of Ariel, which issued a statement regretting that Big Brother had offered Szekely a platform for his views. [3] Various Facebook groups called Szekely a traitor and demanded his removal from the show. [4]

From February 27 to March 5, 2012, 18-year-old Model Victoria Irouleguy from Gran Hermano Argentina 7 where she spent 7 days in the Israel house as part of the Israel Week. On the same week (February 27 to March 5), the Israel housemate Sophie Karwacki spent 7 days in the Argentina house.

Keshet Media Group, also known as the Keshet company, is a private Israeli mass media company, which is headquartered in Tel Aviv. Its media and online news outlet Mako is one of the major Israeli ones.
HaAh HaGadol 1 is the first series of the Israeli version of the reality show Big Brother. The show was first broadcast on Channel 2 on 1 September 2008, and ended on 16 December 2008. Erez Tal and Assi Azar co-host the show.
HaAh HaGadol VIP started on March 1, 2009 and ended on March 31, 2009. The VIP season was the second season of the Israeli version of the Big Brother series and the first season of the VIP series. The show follows the main Big Brother rules, but with some changes. For example, in VIP Big Brother the show's duration is shorter – a month. Thirteen celebrity housemates spent a period of five weeks together in the Big Brother House. Housemates include singers, models, a fashion designer, a journalist and other well-known Israeli personalities.
HaAh HaGadol 2 is the second series of the Israeli version of the reality show Big Brother. The show was first broadcast on 15 November 2009, and ended on 4 March 2010. Sixteen housemates entered the house on launch night and another five joining after 43 days. The housemates competed for a one million shekel prize. The house was located in Neve Ilan, a suburb of Jerusalem. The twist this season was that the house was split in half, the same concept used in Big Brother 9 (UK), and the introduction of the Head of House.

It also presents lyrics of non-Hebrew songs, trivia puzzles, ringtones, video clips, general information about Israeli musicians, pictures of Israeli musicians, ads of concerts, and internet forums. Shironnet complies with copyright laws and pays ACUM for each entry to a lyrics webpage or a video clip webpage, in order to pass the payments to the artists.
Big Brother is the Israeli version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother created by producer John de Mol in 1997.
