Big Brother is a Dutch reality competition television franchise created by John de Mol Jr., first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999, and subsequently syndicated internationally. The show features contestants called "housemates" or "HouseGuests" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The name is inspired by Big Brother from George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, and the housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, they are voted out until only one remains and wins the cash prize.

Ottawa Rough Riders Former Canadian Football League franchise

The Ottawa Rough Riders were a Canadian Football League team based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1876. Formerly one of the oldest and longest-lived professional sports teams in North America, the Rough Riders won the Grey Cup championship nine times. Their most dominant era was the 1960s and 1970s, in which they won five Grey Cups. The team's fortunes waned in the 1980s and 1990s, and they ultimately ceased operations following the 1996 season. Five years later, a new CFL team known as the Ottawa Renegades was founded, though they suspended operations in 2006. The Ottawa Redblacks, which own the Rough Riders intellectual properties, joined the league in 2014.

My Little Pony (MLP) is a toy line and media franchise mainly targeting girls, developed by American toy company Hasbro, although it has found an unintended audience of bronies. The first toys were developed by Bonnie Zacherle, Charles Muenchinger, and Steve D'Aguanno, and were produced in 1981. The ponies feature colorful bodies, manes and a unique symbol on one or both sides of their flanks. Such symbols are referred to in the two most recent incarnations as "cutie marks". My Little Pony has been revamped several times with new and more modern looks to continue its appeal to the market.

The word Pinoy in the title is a colloquial term for the Filipino people. The show first aired on August 21, 2005 on ABS-CBN, Studio 23, and its international channel, TFC in various countries worldwide. The uncut 24/7 version of the series can also be seen on the internet through paid-online streaming video subscription via TFCNow, and through cable network SkyCable. The first season of Big Brother Canada began airing on 27 February 2013. Based on the worldwide franchise of the same name, it saw fifteen HouseGuests competing to win the show's grand prize. It is the first English adaption of the series to be held in Canada, although all seasons of the North American edition have been broadcast in the country. Arisa Cox served as the show's host during its ten-week run, concluding on 2 May 2013 when Jillian MacLaughlin was crowned the winner. The season proved to be a hit for Slice, significantly boosting the network's ratings and boosting traffic onto the official website. MacLaughlin and fellow HouseGuest Emmett Blois went on to make a number of media appearances following the season, while runner-up Gary Levy returned to compete on the show's fifth season.

Való Világ is a reality game show franchise developed by Magyar RTL Televízió, the Hungarian branch of RTL Group to compete with Big Brother.
