Bill Gray is a former American football and tennis coach. He served as the full-time head football coach at Samford University from 2002 to 2006, after being named the interim head coach midway through the 2001 season. [1]

  1. Pete Hurt served as head coach for the first five games of the 2001 season before. Gray was named interim head coach and led Samford for the final five games of the season. The Wildcats finished the year 5–5 overall.

George "Tic" Price is an American college basketball coach. He currently serves as the head coach for the Lamar Cardinals men's basketball team. John Burt Longwell was an American football player, coach of football and basketball, and dentist. He served as the head football coach at Howard College—now Samford University—in Birmingham, Alabama during the 1909, 1911, 1916 and 1917 seasons and at New York University (NYU) in 1919, compiling a career college football record of 18–18–3. Longwell was also the head basketball coach at Howard during the 1916–17 season, tallying a mark of 3–5.

Kevin Guy is an arena football coach and former wide receiver and defensive back who is the head coach for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played his college football at the University of West Alabama, and was an AFL wide receiver and defensive back from 1996 to 1999. Bennie Seltzer is an American college basketball coach who most recently served as the interim head coach of the Evansville Purple Aces team following the firing of Walter McCarty. Seltzer is the former head coach of the Samford Bulldogs, a position to which he was hired on April 5, 2012. Previously, he was hired in April 2008 by new Indiana Hoosiers head coach Tom Crean, who brought him and fellow assistant Tim Buckley over from his staff at Marquette. Pete Hurt is an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Samford University in Homewood, Alabama from 1994 to 2001, compiling a record of 42–39–1. Hurt has also been the head football coach at a number of high school in the state of Mississippi: Clinton High School from 2002 to 2004, Center High School from 2007 to 2010, Northwest Rankin High School from 2011 to 2013, and Olive Branch High School in 2016.

The Waterloo Warriors football team represents the University of Waterloo in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. Curtis Crockett was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Clark Atlanta University from 1999 to 2001, compiling a record of 8–17. Crockett was appointed interim head coach four games into the 1999 season when head coach Elmer Mixon resigned after an 0–4 start. He resigned eight games into the 2001 season after leading the team to 1–7 record. Clark Atlanta's athletic director Brenda Edmond gave Crockett the option of being fired or resigning.
