William A. Tym is an American former tennis player.
Tym, raised in Montville, New Jersey, attended Boonton High School and played collegiate tennis for the University of Florida. In 1963 he was SEC champion at No. 1 singles and earned All-American honors, reaching the quarter-finals of the NCAA singles championships. During the 1960s he featured in the six editions of the US Open and played in doubles main draws at Wimbledon. From 1987 to 1996 he served as the men's head coach of Vanderbilt University. He was the personal coach of tennis player Bryan Shelton. [1]

Stanley Roger Smith is an American former professional tennis player. A world No. 1 player and two-time major singles champion, Smith also paired with Bob Lutz to create one of the most successful doubles teams of all-time. In 1970, Smith won the inaugural year-end championships title. In 1972, he was the year-end world No. 1 singles player. In 1973, he won his second and last year end championship title at the Dallas WCT Finals. In addition, he won four Grand Prix Championship Series titles. In his early years he improved his tennis game through lessons from Pancho Segura, the Pasadena Tennis Patrons, and the sponsorship of the Southern California Tennis Association headed by Perry T. Jones. Since 2011, Smith has served as President of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Outside tennis circles, Smith is best known as the namesake of a popular brand of tennis shoes.

The Trinity Tigers is the nickname for the sports teams of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The school mascot is LeeRoy, a Bengal tiger. In the 1950s, LeeRoy was an actual tiger who was brought to sporting events, but today LeeRoy is portrayed by a student wearing a tiger suit. Early in its history, the school participated in Division I/II athletics, but by 1991 the entire program made the move to Division III, at which time it joined the SCAC.
