Bim were an English new wave band formed in 1980. They released seven singles between 1980 and 1982, and one album in 1982 on the Swerve record label.
The band were formed in 1980 and consisted of members Cameron McVey (vocals), Stephen Street (bass, percussion), Bobby Henry (guitar), Andy Harley (keyboards) and Brian Wren (drums, percussion). Before Bim, Henry was a singer and released several singles on the A&M and Oval labels. The band played live gigs at venues such as Half Moon in Herne Hill, South London.
The 1982 single "Blind Lead the Blind" was produced by Mick Jones of the Clash. [1] Also in 1982, the single "Factory" received lots of airplay on BBC Radio 1. [2]
Cameron McVey went on to become a successful songwriter and producer. In 1987, as one half of the duo Morgan-McVey together with Jamie Morgan, they released the single "Looking Good Diving" produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. Its B-side, "Looking Good Diving with the Wild Bunch" featured Neneh Cherry on vocals which would later be reworked into Cherry's worldwide hit "Buffalo Stance" in 1988. McVey and Cherry married in 1990. As well as producing for Cherry, McVey also produced for bands such as Massive Attack, Frente, Portishead, All Saints, Sugababes and Kitchen Party. McVey would also become a member of the groups The Dynamik Duo, Virgin Souls and cirKus.
Stephen Street also became a record producer, producing for bands and artists such as the Smiths and Morrissey, Blur, the Darling Buds, the Cranberries, Shed Seven, New Order, Suede, Kaiser Chiefs, the Ordinary Boys, Babyshambles and Pete Doherty, Feeder, the Zutons, and the Courteeners. [3]

Sawyer Brown is an American country music band. It was founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by Mark Miller, Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard, Bobby Randall, Joe "Curly" Smyth (drums), and Jim Scholten. The five musicians were originally members of country singer Don King's road band, but chose to stay together after King retired in 1981. After competing on the television competition series Star Search and winning that show's grand prize, they signed to Capitol Records in 1984. The band recorded for Capitol between then and 1991, and for Curb Records between 1991 and 2005, except for a short time in 2003 when they were signed to Lyric Street Records. Duncan Cameron, formerly of the Amazing Rhythm Aces, replaced Randall in 1991, and Shayne Hill replaced him in 2004.

Inner Circle, also known as The Inner Circle Band or The Bad Boys of Reggae, are a Jamaican reggae band formed in Kingston in 1968. The band first backed The Chosen Few in the early 1970s before joining with successful solo artist Jacob Miller and releasing a string of records. "Buffalo Stance" is a 1988 single recorded by Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, released from her debut album, Raw Like Sushi (1989). The song peaked at No. 3 on both the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100, and it reached No. 1 in her native Sweden and the Netherlands. An early version of the song appeared as the B-side on the 1986 Stock, Aitken, and Waterman-produced single "Looking Good Diving" by duo Morgan-McVey, which was made up of Jamie Morgan and Cherry's future husband Cameron McVey. The song, titled "Looking Good Diving with the Wild Bunch", was sung by Cherry.

Morgan McVey were a mid-1980s pop duo with a background in fashion photography, video direction and modeling, composed of Jamie Morgan and Cameron McVey. Jamie Morgan has been highly influential as part of Buffalo, a styling team whose streetwise look was typical in the style mags of the time.
One Step Beyond. .. is the 1979 debut album by the British ska-pop group Madness, released by Stiff Records. "Looking Good Diving" is a 1987 song performed by Morgan-McVey, who were vocalists Jamie Morgan and Cameron McVey. It was their only single. Originally imagined as a Simon & Garfunkel-style two-part male vocal duo, who planned to harmonise over reggae beats, the band's early demos failed to effectively deliver on the concept. Facing a creative crisis, their record company Sony suggested they work with pop producers Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW), a plan that left them with mixed feelings.
