Birth of Jazz EP is American band Modey Lemon's self-released EP which predated the release of their 2008 album Season of Sweets . Some of the content of the album was recorded during the Season of Sweets sessions, which turned out to be the last sessions in the band's Brass Factory studio where they had recorded 3 albums.

Modey Lemon

Modey Lemon is an American garage rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The group formed in Pittsburgh's South Oakland neighborhood in 1999 as an informal side project of Dean Swagger, a rock trio that had spent the previous year mainly performing in basements to college party crowds. The original lineup consisted of guitarist Phil Boyd and drummer Paul Quattrone, then nominally students at the University of Pittsburgh. The group made its first appearances at the Halloween weekend in 1999 and played a live set on WPTS 92.1 FM, the University of Pittsburgh college radio station, segments of which later turned up on the group's demo album, House on the Hill.

The Comsat Angels were an English post-punk band from Sheffield England, initially active from 1978 to 1995. AOL Sessions is a video release of the live Sessions@AOL performances by American rock band My Chemical Romance. Four tracks of the album were released on December 18, 2007, in Canada and the United States by Reprise Records. Tracks four and six were released on December 21, 2007. The album features six videos, all of which are songs from the band's third studio album, The Black Parade.

The Fling is a band from Long Beach, CA consisting of Dustin Lovelis, Graham Lovelis, Justin Roeland, Joel Bond and Justin Ivey (drums). The band is known for alternating lead singer duties. Their sound has been described as "classic '60s pop, '90s alternative, and contemporary indie-rock clashing fluidly to create a strangely nostalgic effect." Seabird (band) band

Seabird is an American alternative rock band from Independence, Kentucky. The band formed when Aaron Morgan, Micah Landers, and Aaron Hunt began playing songs with each other in 2004. The band soon added accordion player David Smith. After playing together for a little under a year both Landers and Smith left to pursue other interests. Soon after Chris Kubik joined the band to take the place of Landers on bass and Morgan began playing two keyboards to make up for the loss of the accordion. After adding Morgan's brother (Ryan) to play guitar, the band recorded their debut EP, Spread Your Broken Wings and Try, in one of the band members' rooms.

Sessions@AOL is the title of two separate EPs by alternative rock band Snow Patrol. Both EPs feature the band's performance at AOL music. Snow Patrol was one of the acts chosen in AOL Music's "Breakers" in December 2003, a program to promote bands for months leading up to the release of their respective albums in the United States. Snow Patrol's appearance on the sessions was a part of the program.

Kocytean is an EP by Swedish metal band Katatonia. The album was released on April 19, 2014, as part of the 2014 iteration of Record Store Day. The release consists of a collection of six B-side song from their prior three albums at the time - The Great Cold Distance (2006), Night is the New Day (2009), and Dead End Kings (2012). While given a limited release, it was still generally praised by critics.
