Bite Back is the thirteenth studio album by Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang,released on 12 October 2023 by Sony. [1] It is Wang's first album since her twelfth studio album Cyndiloves2sing (2018). Wang released the album on the twentieth anniversary of her debut. The album delves into the theme of discovering new things about oneself. It was the best-selling album among female singers of Taiwan Five Music,Chia Chia Record,Eslite Bookstore and Books.com in 2023. [2] The vinyl edition was released on 26 April 2024. [3]
The title track "Bite Back" was written by Lexie Liu,Alina Smith,and Femke Weidema. It is a dance song incorporating synth,trap and video game sound effects. The dance of the song is called the "Sweet Bite Dance",and was choreographed by Kiel Tutin. The lyrics of the song concern challenging one's past self. [4]

Cyndi Wang Hsin-ling is a Taiwanese singer and actress. Wang began her recording career when she released her first album, Begin... (2003). Besides her musical career, Wang has starred in many TV dramas, including The Car Is In Pursuit (2000), Westside Story (2003), Heaven's Wedding Gown (2004), and Smiling Pasta (2006). She started her first tour in 2016, and second in 2019. Wang has been active in the Taiwanese music scene for more than twenty years and is one of the top female popstars in the Mandopop industry, regularly selling over a million copies of her every album across Asia. She is widely known as the "Mandopop Princess" or "Taiwanese Sweetheart".
Wilber Pan, also known as Will Pan, is a Taiwanese-American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor and entrepreneur. He started his career as a host of Channel V programs. In 2011, Pan was awarded Best Actor for Endless Love at the 46th Golden Bell Awards, Taiwan's equivalent to the Emmy Awards.
