[5] The song addresses the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. The track was originally met with controversy, [6] and Chris apologized through now-deleted TikTok videos for using the sample and announced that he would no longer be releasing the song, later changing his mind and releasing it on November 2, 2021. Yvngxchris announced that SSGKobe's verse would be featured in the remix for the song. [7]
