Founding

Bluefish was founded in February 2024 by Alex Sherman, Andrei Dunca, and Jing Feng. The three founders brought experience from previous successful exits in the advertising technology space:

Funding

In 2024, Bluefish raised $3.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Crane Venture Partners. [2]

In August 2025, Bluefish raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by NEA, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Crane Venture Partners, Swift Ventures, and Bloomberg Beta, bringing its total funding to $24 million. [3] The company reported 10x revenue growth in the six months prior to the Series A announcement. [1]
