Bo op de Weegh (born 9 February 2005) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward for AZ in the Eredivisie Vrouwen. [1] [2]
Op de Weegh was part of the youth talent squad of VV Alkmaar in the 2022–23 season. [3] Op de Weegh made her professional debut on 27 January 2023, coming on as a substitute for Veerle van der Most against Excelsior in the 83rd minute. [4] She made the transfer to AZ on 14 June 2023. [5] She made her debut for the club on 8 September of that year against Excelsior in a 1–1 draw. [6] She signed a contract extension on 11 April 2024, keeping her at AZ until 2025. [7]
Op de Weegh played for Netherlands U16 team in July 2021 making three appearances for the team during the Nordic Tournament of that year. [8]

The Vrouwen Eredivisie, also known as the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie due to a sponsorship contract, is the highest women's football league in the Netherlands. Organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), it was established in 2007 as a professional league and played for five seasons until 2012, when the Netherlands and Belgium merged their leagues into a single combined league, the BeNe League. After three seasons, the BeNe League folded, and the Eredivisie restarted in the 2015–16 season. The top two Eredivisie teams each year qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League.
AZ or AZ Vrouwen is a women's association football club based in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. They are affiliated with the AZ men's team. They were founding members of the Eredivisie Vrouwen in 2007 and won the league's first three championships.
