Robert Fraser was a Scottish professional football defender who played for Albion Rovers and Aberdeen. [2]
Fraser joined Aberdeen in 1931, and was appointed team captain in 1934. He emigrated to South Africa in 1938, a year after visiting the country on the club's summer tour. [1] [3]
At representative level, he took part in a Scottish Football Association tour of North America in the summer of 1935, but none of the fixtures was a full international. [4] [5]

James Leighton is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Leighton started his career with Aberdeen, where he won seven domestic trophies and the 1982–83 European Cup Winners' Cup under the management of Alex Ferguson. Ferguson then signed Leighton for Manchester United in 1988, but dropped him after he conceded three goals in the 1990 FA Cup Final. Leighton then had spells with Arsenal, Reading, Dundee and Sheffield United, and rebuilt his career after joining Hibernian in 1993. He returned to Aberdeen in 1997, leading to a career total of over 600 appearances in the league alone.
William Ferguson Miller MBE is a Scottish former professional football player and manager, who made a club record 560 league appearances for Aberdeen. Sir Alex Ferguson described Miller as "the best penalty box defender in the world".
Martin McLean Buchan is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Born in Aberdeen, he played for Aberdeen, Manchester United and Oldham Athletic. He also played in 34 international matches for Scotland between 1971 and 1978 including at two World Cups. Buchan later managed Burnley.

Derek Young is a Scottish ex-professional association football midfielder. Young started his career alongside his brother Darren at Aberdeen before leaving with him in 2003 to join Dunfermline Athletic. Spells at St Johnstone and Partick Thistle followed before returning to Aberdeen for another four years. He spent a short spell in Iceland with Grindavík before returning to Scotland with Morton in 2011. In summer 2012 he joined Queen of the South with whom he won a league and cup double. He joined Forfar Athletic in 2014 before ending his playing career with a season at Formartine United.

Archibald Glen was a Scottish footballer who played as a left half for Aberdeen, where he spent his whole professional career. He made 270 appearances for the club in the three major domestic competitions, and helped Aberdeen win the 1954–55 league championship and the 1955 Scottish League Cup Final.
