Bob Muller (born c. 1932) is a former Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly. He represented the 16th district. [1] He was appointed to succeed Chris Millis,who resigned. [2] [3]

With the Swinging Blue Jeans,the Searchers tied for being the second group from Liverpool,after the Beatles,to have a hit in the US when their "Needles and Pins" and the Swinging Blue Jeans' "Hippy Hippy Shake" both reached the Hot 100 on 7 March 1964.
Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band was the house band for Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show Conan from its debut on November 8,2010 to the final episode of its 60-minute format October 4,2018. Guitarist and arranger Jimmy Vivino is the group's leader. The group was originally formed and led by drummer Max Weinberg in 1993,and played under the name The Max Weinberg 7 when it was the house band for Late Night with Conan O'Brien in New York through 2009. The band then played under Max Weinberg and The Tonight Show Band during their brief 2009–2010 stint on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien in Los Angeles. They were then briefly known as The Legally Prohibited Band during their participation with O'Brien in the 2010 The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour.
William Dorsey Pender was a general in the Confederacy in the American Civil War serving as a brigade and divisional commander. Promoted to brigadier on the battlefield at Seven Pines by Confederate President Jefferson Davis in person,he fought in the Seven Days Battles and at Second Manassas,Fredericksburg,and Chancellorsville,being wounded in each of these engagements. Lee rated him as one of the most promising of his commanders,promoting him to major general at twenty-nine. Pender was mortally wounded on the second day at Gettysburg.

The Omaha Reservation of the federally recognized Omaha tribe is located mostly in Thurston County,Nebraska,with sections in neighboring Cuming and Burt counties,in addition to Monona County in Iowa. James F. Penders is the coach of the UConn Huskies baseball team. Penders began his time with the Huskies in 1991 as a player on the varsity team. In his senior year,he was named a co-captain and helped to lead the Huskies to victory in the 1994 Big East Conference baseball tournament. Penders was named an assistant coach of the Huskies in 1997 and became head coach after the 2003 season.
