Omari Ishmael Grandberry, better known by his stage name Omarion, is an American R&B singer, actor, and dancer, best known as the lead singer of the boy band B2K. The group achieved success in the early 2000s with singles such as "Bump, Bump, Bump", "Uh Huh", and "Girlfriend", which all reached success on the Billboard Hot 100. After the group disbanded in 2004, Omarion embarked on a solo career and released his debut album, O in 2005, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards.

Beginning his career in the mid-1990s as Killa Cam, Giles signed to Lance "Un" Rivera's Untertainment under the aegis of Epic and released his first two studio albums Confessions of Fire and S.D.E. in 1998 and 2000 respectively; the former achieved gold status by the RIAA. After leaving Epic, Giles signed to Roc-A-Fella Records in 2001 and released his third studio album Come Home with Me the following year; it achieved platinum status by the RIAA, and also contained Cam'ron's highest-charting singles to date; "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma", which peaked at No. 4 and No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. Brant Bjork is an American musician, singer, and record producer. He is perhaps best known as the drummer and founder of the influential Californian stoner rock band Kyuss. Bjork played in Vista Chino, along with former Kyuss vocalist John Garcia, up until October 2014, at which point Nick Oliveri announced that there was a falling out and that Bjork and Garcia would continue working on their solo projects. He is one of the more notable figures in the stoner rock and Palm Desert scene and maintains a prolific solo career with over a dozen released albums.

The Diplomats is an American hip hop collective formed in 1997 by childhood friends Cam'ron and Jim Jones in Harlem, New York. The group was originally composed of Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey, all of whom grew up together in Harlem. In 1999, fellow Harlem-based rapper Juelz Santana joined the group.

Body Head Bangerz: Volume One is the debut studio album by American southern hip hop group Body Head Bangerz. The original version of the album released on August 3, 2004 under Body Head Entertainment, but was re-released on October 26, 2004 by Universal Music with a modified album cover, a re-ordered track list with two new songs, "Can't Let Go" and "Getting Money Right" but excluding the song "Down Here". The clean version of the re-release contains the same, though non-explicit, tracks as the original release. The album features many southern hip hop or "Dirty South" musicians such as B.G., Lil' Flip, Petey Pablo, Mike Jones and Bun B among others. The album produced two singles, "I Smoke, I Drank" and "Can't Be Touched". Both singles were featured on BET and one single appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The song "Body Head Anthem" was featured on the in-game soundtrack for Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.

The original track features Lil' Boosie and Young Bleed but only the remix of the song, "I Smoke, I Drank (Remix)" featuring YoungBloodZ, charted. Though only the latter charted, it is often credited as simply "I Smoke, I Drank". This single, along with Body Head Bangerz's second single, "Can't Be Touched" featuring Trouble Tha Truth, helped the group earn widespread recognition among hip hop enthusiasts.

Bangerz is the fourth studio album by American singer Miley Cyrus. It was released on September 30, 2013, by RCA Records. It is her first studio album since 2010's Can't Be Tamed. Opting to re-establish her musical career instead of focusing on her acting career as originally planned, Cyrus began planning the project in late 2012. Work continued into 2013 when she signed with RCA Records. Described by Cyrus as "dirty south hip-hop", Bangerz represents a musical departure from her previous work, which she had grown to feel "disconnected" from. As executive producers, Cyrus and Mike Will Made It collaborated with hip hop producers including Pharrell Williams, Oren Yoel, Rami Samir Afuni, Dr. Luke, and Michael McHenry. Their efforts resulted in a primarily pop and R&B record, with lyrical themes that revolve largely around romance. It features guest vocals from several new partners, including pop singer Britney Spears and rappers Big Sean, French Montana, Future, Ludacris, and Nelly. Cyrus co-wrote twelve out of sixteen tracks.

The Bangerz Tour was the fourth concert tour by American singer Miley Cyrus. It was held in support of her fourth studio album, Bangerz (2013). The tour visited the Americas, Europe, and Oceania through five legs. It spanned from February 14 to October 23, 2014. Cyrus performed all songs from the album excluding "Hands in the Air", among covers of songs by other artists. Cyrus' allergic reaction along with logistical issues led to three cancellations in the tour's scheduled dates. A show in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic was banned by the government citing moral grounds.
