The 1906 Intercalated Games or 1906 Olympic Games was an international multi-sport event that was celebrated in Athens, Greece. They were at the time considered to be Olympic Games and were referred to as the "Second International Olympic Games in Athens" by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). However, the medals that were distributed to the participants during these games were later not officially recognised by the IOC and are not displayed with the collection of Olympic medals at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland.
At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, eight events in fencing were contested, all for men only. Now called the Intercalated Games, the 1906 Games are no longer considered as an official Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee.
Canada competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens, Greece. Three athletes, all men, competed in four events in one sport. These games are not now considered as official Olympic games by the International Olympic Committee, and results are not included in official records and medal counts.
Josef Steinbach was an Austrian weightlifter. He was born in Bohemia and in 1894 moved to Vienna, where he began competing in weightlifting in 1898. He won three world titles in 1904–1905 and two medals at the 1906 Intercalated Games: a gold in one-hand and a silver in two-hand lift. After the Games he became professional wrestler and exhibition weightlifter. In 1910 he repeatedly challenged Arthur Saxon for the world professional weightlifting title, but to no avail.
Ladislav Žemla was a Czech tennis player. He competed for Bohemia at the 1906, 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics and for Czechoslovakia at the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics. At the 1920 Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles event, together with his wife Milada Skrbková. He also won a bronze medal at the 1906 Intercalated Games, playing with his brother Zdeněk Žemla.

Arnošt Nejedlý was a Czech long-distance runner. He competed for Bohemia in the men's marathon at the 1908 Summer Olympics. He was killed in action during World War I while serving in the Austro-Hungarian Army.
