"Be My Lover" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group La Bouche and released in March 1995 as the second single from their debut album, Sweet Dreams (1995). The song was written by group members Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray with Uli Brenner and Gerd Amir Saraf, who co-produced it with Frank Farian. It remains their most successful song, alongside "Sweet Dreams", and was a worldwide hit. In Europe, it was a number-one hit in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania, and Sweden, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100. In the US, the single reached number five on the Cash Box Top 100, number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and also topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for two weeks in December 1995. To date, it has sold six million copies worldwide. La Bouche won the 1996 Echo award in Germany in the category for Best Dance Single with "Be My Lover", and the ASCAP award in the US for the 'Most Played Song in America'. It was dubbed into many megamix tracks and has had several remix versions.

The song has been covered by several artists, including British girl group Sugababes, who reached number one on the UK Singles Chart with their version in 2002.
"Missing" is a song by English musical duo Everything but the Girl, taken from their eighth studio album, Amplified Heart (1994). It was written by the two band members, Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt, and was produced by Watt and John Coxon. It was taken as the second single off the album on 8 August 1994 by Blanco y Negro Records in the United Kingdom and by Atlantic Records in the United States. It initially did not achieve much success until it was remixed by Todd Terry and re-released in 1995, resulting in worldwide success, peaking at or near the top of the charts in many countries. The release of the remixed version of "Missing" gave an indication of the band's future experimentation with more electronic dance music on subsequent albums.
"My Love Is for Real" is a song by American singer and songwriter Paula Abdul with backing vocals from Israeli singer Ofra Haza. It achieved success in many European countries, particularly in Finland, where it peaked at number 6 and in France, where it peaked at number 8 and stayed on the chart (top-50) for 13 weeks. The song was also a hit in Austria and in Belgium (Wallonia), where it remained ranked in the top-40 for 18 weeks. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Generation of Love" reached number 35. In 2006, it was re-released in a remixed version with Freedom Williams and Linda Rocco in featuring, but was much less successful. This version is included on Masterboy's 2006 studio album US-Album. The artwork of the remixes used the same picture, but with different colours.

"Think About the Way" is a song by British-based rapper Ice MC, released in March 1994 as the second single from his third album, Ice'n'Green (1994), on which it appears in four versions, and his tenth single overall. It was produced by Roberto Zanetti, also known as Robyx, and was written by Zanetti and Ice MC, though many releases credit Zanetti as the sole writer. The female vocals were performed by Italian singer Alexia, though she was also uncredited. The song was very successful in Europe, reaching the top 5 in Belgium and Italy, and the top 15 in Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and the Netherlands. In the UK and Ireland, it was released under the title "Think About the Way ", which it refers to the first words of the first verse. Its music video was directed by Giacomo de Simone.
"Gimme Love" is a song by Italian singer Alexia, released in March 1998 as the lead single from her second album, The Party (1998). It reached number one in both Italy and Spain, and charted in the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart, where a complete set of remixes for the British market were issued. It is based on the 1977 song "Gimme Some" by Brendon. A music video was also produced to promote the single.

On the Eurochart Hot 100, the song reached number 51 in January 1994. Outside Europe, "Let This Feeling" was successful in israel, peaking at number eight.
"That Girl" is a song by English reggae singer Maxi Priest featuring Jamaican reggae musician Shaggy. It was released on 10 June 1996 as the first single from Priest's sixth album, Man with the Fun (1996). The song reached the top 20 in at least eight countries, including the United Kingdom, where it peaked at No. 15 on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked at No. 3 on the Finnish Singles Chart, No. 4 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart, No. 7 on the Australian Singles Chart and No. 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song samples the 1962 instrumental "Green Onions" by Booker T. & the M.G.'s.

In Europe, it charted in the UK, where it peaked at number 28 on the UK Singles Chart, but was more successful on the UK Dance Singles Chart, reaching number three in October 1994.
