Gnanam Balasubramanian, popularly known as Bombay Gnanam, is an Indian actress [1] who appears in Tamil stage, television and film productions. She started her acting career as a stage artist in 1989 when she founded the Mahalakshmi Ladies Drama Group. [2] [3] [4] [5]

She has acted in over 50 Tamil television serials including Premi, Kolangal and Chidhambara Ragasiyam, Sahana, [6] Ethirneechal . [7] She was awarded Kalaimamani in 2005. [8]
