Bond County Community Unit School District 2 is a unified school district based in Greenville, a city located in central Bond County, Illinois that serves as its county seat. Today, the district is composed of five schools; [2] Greenville Elementary School, a NASA Explorer school that serves grades Pre-K through 5; [3] Pocahontas Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-K through 8; [4] Sorento Elementary School, which serves grades K-8; [5] [6] Greenville Junior High School, a school that means to bridge Greenville Elementary and Greenville High by serving grades 6-8; [7] and lastly, Greenville High School, of which all the schools ultimately feed into, serving grades 9-12. [8] The superintendent of the school district is Melanie Allyn; [9] the principal of Greenville Elementary is Scott Pasley, the principal of Pocahontas Elementary is Eric Swingler, the principal of Sorento Elementary is Bill Carpenter, the principal of Greenville Junior High is Gary Brauns, and the principal of Greenville High is Wendy Porter. Neoga, in turn, is a city located in northwestern Cumberland County. The district is composed of two schools: one elementary school and one junior-senior high school compose the unified district. Education begins at Neoga Elementary School, where children in grades ranging from kindergarten to five are educated; the school also runs a prekindergarten program. The last branch of precollegiate education in the district takes place at the combined Neoga Junior/Senior High School, and students in grades six through twelve are taught in this facility. Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 is a unified school district based in the Madison County village of Bethalto, Illinois; the district is on the outskirts of the St. Louis Metro Area. The district is composed of five schools, of which all are located in the village of Bethalto except for one. The district is composed of two primary schools, one intermediate schools, one middle school, and one high school. Students attending the unified school district begin their educations at Bethalto East Primary School which serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through first grade. Next, students attend Parkside Primary School, which serve students in grades second and third; the principals of each school are, respectively, Rachel Leckrone and Aaron Kilpatrick. Students in grades four and five attend Meadowbrook Intermediate School, which is headed by principal Kim Wilks. Meadowbrook Intermediate School, falls outside Bethalto city limits in nearby Fort Russell Township. Graduates of the intermediate school register at Wilbur Trimpe Middle School, where under direction of Principal Adam Miller, the students progress from grade six through grade eight. The last leg of pre-collegiate education that students in Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 undertake is at Civic Memorial High School, where the school's principal is Justin Newell. The high school mascot is the Eagle, while the middle school mascot is the Royal.

Arcola Community Unit School District 306 is a unified school district based in a southern Douglas County settlement named Arcola, Illinois. The district is composed of an elementary school and a consolidated junior senior high school. The junior senior high school, although consolidated, is still regarded as two different schools. Students enter the district as prekindergarteners or kindergarteners in Arcola Elementary School, which educates the students until sixth grade under supervision of principal Angie Gentry. Graduates of the elementary school move on to Arcola Junior High School, and will remain there until seventh grade; afterwards, students complete their precollegiate education at Arcola High School. Principal Lisa Sigrist directs both schools; The mascot of both schools, is the Purple Rider. The district superintendent is Tom Mulligan; he broadcasts monthly podcasts to his district.
