Greenville High School, official name Bond County Community Unit #2 High School, is a high school for grades 9-12 students located in Greenville, Illinois. It serves students from much of Bond County, Illinois, including Pocahontas and Sorento.
Central Community Unit School District 3 is a unified school district located in Camp Point, a village located in Adams County, Illinois. In its entirety, Central Community Unit School District 3 is composed of Central Elementary Grade School, Central Middle School, Central Junior High School, and Central High School altogether. Valmeyer Community Unit School District 3 is a unified school district centered on the Monroe County Mississippi River village of Valmeyer, Illinois, although it also encompasses residents of the villages of Fults and Maeystown. Diamond Lake School District 76 is a PK-8 school district centered on the village of Mundelein, Illinois, which is located in central Lake County. Palos Heights School District 128 is a PK-8 Cook County, Illinois school district located in the southern village of Palos Heights; the district serves Palos Heights Proper and the majority of its neighboring unincorporated areas. All in all, the district is composed of four schools: Indian Hill Preschool, of which educates the prekindergarteners of the district, serves roughly 7% of the district students; Cathy Leslie serves as the director of the prekindergarten program at the facility. West Richland Community Unit School District 2 was a unified school district based in the southern Illinois village of Noble in the western region of Richland County. On July 1, 2015, West Richland CUSD 2 was annexed into East Richland Community Unit School District 1, which then changed its name to Richland County Community Unit School District 1 on July 1, 2015.
Jasper County Community Unit School District 1 is a unified school district based in Jasper County's county seat of Newton, Illinois. It is the only school district in the county and the main educational body in Jasper County, although it serves portions of Effingham County and Cumberland County as well.
The Cumberland Community Unit School District 77 is a unified school district located in the county seat of Cumberland County, the village of Toledo, Illinois. It is composed of three schools: one elementary school, one junior high school, and one high school, and altogether, as of the 2007–08 school year, accommodates 1,132 students. Students just entering the district first attend the Cumberland Elementary School, which serves them from kindergarten to grade five. Neoga Community Unit School District 3 is a unified school district located in the central Illinois city of Neoga, for which the district is named. Neoga, in turn, is a city located in northwestern Cumberland County. The district is composed of two schools: one elementary school and one junior-senior high school compose the unified district. Education begins at Neoga Elementary School, where children in grades ranging from kindergarten to five are educated; the school also runs a prekindergarten program. The last branch of precollegiate education in the district takes place at the combined Neoga Junior/Senior High School, and students in grades six through twelve are taught in this facility. The district's mascot is the Indian.
Charleston Community Unit School District 1 is a unified school district based in Charleston, the county seat of Coles County, Illinois.
Oakland Community Unit School District 5 is a small unified school district based in the village of Oakland, a small community in the northeastern reaches of Coles County, Illinois; its small student body and few schools suggests that most of the Coles County population centers have already been staked by the other two school districts in the county -- Charleston Community Unit School District 1 and Mattoon Community Unit School District 2. Oakland Community Unit School District 5 is composed of two schools; one school is a combined elementary and junior high school, and the other is a senior high school; students in kindergarten and grades one though eight attend Lake Crest Elementary School, which is under the direction of principal Jim Eastin. Graduates move forward to attend nearby Oakland High School, which educates those in grades nine though twelve; students in this district may then pursue a collegiate education. Oakland High School is governed by the same principal as Lake Crest Elementary School, Jim Eastin. The district superintendent is named Michael Smith, and the districtwide mascot is the Titan.
Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 is a unified school district based in the Madison County village of Bethalto, Illinois; the district is on the outskirts of the St. Louis Metro Area. The district is composed of five schools, of which all are located in the village of Bethalto except for one. The district is composed of two primary schools, one intermediate schools, one middle school, and one high school. Students attending the unified school district begin their educations at Bethalto East Primary School which serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through first grade. Next, students attend Parkside Primary School, which serve students in grades second and third; the principals of each school are, respectively, Rachel Leckrone and Aaron Kilpatrick. Students in grades four and five attend Meadowbrook Intermediate School, which is headed by principal Kim Wilks. Meadowbrook Intermediate School, falls outside Bethalto city limits in nearby Fort Russell Township. Graduates of the intermediate school register at Wilbur Trimpe Middle School, where under direction of Principal Adam Miller, the students progress from grade six through grade eight. The last leg of pre-collegiate education that students in Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 undertake is at Civic Memorial High School, where the school's principal is Justin Newell. The high school mascot is the Eagle, while the middle school mascot is the Royal.
Arcola Community Unit School District 306 is a unified school district based in a southern Douglas County settlement named Arcola, Illinois. The district is composed of an elementary school and a consolidated junior senior high school. The junior senior high school, although consolidated, is still regarded as two different schools. Students enter the district as prekindergarteners or kindergarteners in Arcola Elementary School, which educates the students until sixth grade under supervision of principal Angie Gentry. Graduates of the elementary school move on to Arcola Junior High School, and will remain there until seventh grade; afterwards, students complete their precollegiate education at Arcola High School. Principal Lisa Sigrist directs both schools; The mascot of both schools, is the Purple Rider. The district superintendent is Tom Mulligan; he broadcasts monthly podcasts to his district.
