The Boquet River (or Bouquet River before a 1982 Board on Geographic Names decision) is a small river in upstate New York, United States. The river flows into Lake Champlain at the east border of the Town of Willsboro in Essex County.
The Boquet River is 40 miles (64 kilometers) long. Its source is in the Adirondack Mountains, within the Adirondack Park.
In 1814, during the War of 1812, a small battle was fought at the mouth of the river.[ citation needed ]

Grace Peak is a mountain located in Essex County, New York. It is part of the Dix Range, named after John A. Dix (1798–1879), New York Secretary of State in 1837, and later Governor. The mountain was formerly called East Dix, but in 2014 it was officially renamed Grace Peak in honor of Grace Hudowalski (1906–2004), who in 1937 became the ninth person and first woman to climb all 46 of the Adirondack High Peaks. Grace Peak is flanked to the northeast by Spotted Mountain, and to the southwest by South Dix.

The name is being changed to Carson Peak, after Russell M.L. Carson (1884–1961), author of Peaks and People of the Adirondacks. South Dix is flanked to the northeast by Grace Peak, to the northwest by Hough Peak, and to the southwest by Macomb Mountain.

Hough (1822–1885), the first chief of the United States Division of Forestry, and sometimes called the "father of American forestry". Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge and tourist attraction located near the hamlet of Keeseville, New York, United States. It is directly due west of Port Kent. The Ausable River runs through it and then empties into Lake Champlain. The gorge is about two miles (3.2 km) long and is a tourist attraction in the Adirondacks region of Upstate New York. It is fed by the Rainbow Falls at its southern extreme.
