Borgen is a suburb located in the municipality of Asker, Norway. Located some 40 kilometres west of Oslo, Borgen has many different styles of residential areas, ranging from the apartment complexes and semi-detached houses in the southern area of Borgen, to the villas of Borgen Skog.
There are two elementary schools, Rønningen Barneskole and Hagaløkka Barneskole, and middle school, Borgen Ungdomsskole.
Mount Vardåsen offers downhill skiing in winter, and during the rest of the year nice terrain for Orienteering.

The Snowbank Trail is a hiking trail in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in northern Minnesota. The trail runs the perimeter of Snowbank Lake and crosses the Kekekabic Trail at the south side of Snowbank Lake. The entire trail comprises a 24-mile (39 km) loop, numerous campsites are available. During the BWCAW Visitor' Distribution Program, permits are required for overnight use of the trail. It is located in Fall Lake Township in northernmost Lake County.
Heggedal is a part of the Asker municipality in AKershus county, Norway. For statistical purposes, it's usually treated as part of the Oslo urban area. In 2000, its population was 3,301, and the election district named Heggedal had 2,329 registered voters in the 2005 election. It is mainly a residential area, though the area has a railway station, a church, a library, a middle school and a primary school.
