Boris Yotov (born 25 February 1996) is an Azerbaijani rower of Bulgarian origin, a member of the Azerbaijani rowing silver medalist team of the 2014 European Championship and the Youth Olympic Games in 2014 in Nanjing. He was selected to represent Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. [1]

Inna Volodymyrivna Osypenko-Radomska is a Ukrainian-Azerbaijani sprint kayaker. Competing for Ukraine, she won four Olympic medals, including gold at the 2008 Olympics in K-1 500 m. She switched to Azerbaijan in 2014 and won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.

Azerbaijan is also an active member of the international sports community, with full membership in the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), European Athletics Association (EAA), International Olympic Committee (IOC), among many others. It has also hosted the first European Games and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.
Elmar Gasimov is an Azerbaijani judoka, who competes in the -100 kg division. He has competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and won a silver medal in 2016. He has also won a bronze at the 2017 World Championships, and a silver (2014) and two bronze medals at European level.
The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games, were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. Radik Isayev is a Russian-born naturalized Azerbaijani taekwondo practitioner of Lezgin origin. He won the gold medal at the 2014 European Championships Men's 87 kg, also he won bronze in 2013 World Championships. Radik also won a gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio.
