Olivera Nikolova is a Macedonian author who is considered to be one of the top novelists of her country. She was born is 1936 in Skopje, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, now the capital of the Republic of North Macedonia. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, and worked as a screenwriter for radio and television programs.
Arhangel is a Macedonian alternative rock band formed in 1989. The frontman is Risto Vrtev who has also been part of such rock bands as Mizar and Inola X. The original line-up is: Risto Vrtev, Dragan Ginovski, Panta Džambazoski (drums) and Dejan Argirovski. Arhangel has released five albums which have been met with both critical and commercial success. The band's sound is both muscular and melodic at the same time, echoing post-punk icons such as the English The Smiths and the Serbian Ekaterina Velika, while the band's lyrical inspirations focus is on the country's political and cultural changes during the 1990s. The band is also associated with the art movement Makedonska Streljba during the 1980s and the 1990s.

The Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra (LCO) is a chamber orchestra based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was established by Saulius Sondeckis in 1960, giving its first performance on April 30, 1960. Along with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Čiurlionis Quartet, early music ensemble Musica Humana and the Vilnius String Quartet, the LCO is a resident group of the National Philharmonic Hall.
Aco Šopov was a Macedonian poet. He was considered one of the most important poets of Yugoslavia. He took part in World War II in Yugoslavia (1941–45) and his poems written at the time were published as Pesni (Poems) in Belgrade and Kumanovo in 1944, and in Štip the following year. Pesni was the first poetry collection published in the Macedonian language in SR Macedonia after the war.
Ivan (Ivica) Djeparoski(born 1958 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia) is a philosopher, cultural theorist, poet and translator. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje where he received his M.A. and Ph.D. He is an author of fourteen books in the field of aesthetics and cultural theory, five poetry books and also of two poetry anthologies, for which he was awarded the "Mlad Borec Prize" (1984), "Dimitar Mitrev Prize" (1993) and “Paradigm Prize” (2009). He works at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje as a professor of "Aesthetics", "History of Aesthetics" and "Cultural Theories". He is/was Head of the Institute of Philosophy, Head of postgraduate studies of the Institute of philosophy (2010-2013) and secretary of Macedonian P.E.N. Centre.. He also translates. He was granted the "Grigor Prlicev Award" (1993) for a poetic rendition as well as the „Miladinov Brothers” award(2017) for the best poetry book "The Light of Mount Athos" written in Macedonian language. His poetry and some of his essays are translated into several languages.
