Bovbjerg is an up to 41 meter high coastal hill south [1] of the village Ferring in Western Jutland, Denmark. It is known for its lighthouse, Bovbjerg Fyr, [2] and its beach, Bovbjerg Strand. [3]

Bovbjerg is located in Lemvig Municipality, Region Midtjylland.

Limfjord

The Limfjord is a shallow part of the sea, located in Denmark where it has been regarded as a fjord ever since Viking times. However, it has inlets both from the North Sea and Kattegat, and hence separates the North Jutlandic Island from the rest of the Jutland Peninsula. The Limfjord extends from Thyborøn Channel on the North Sea to Hals on the Kattegat. It is approximately 180 kilometres long and of an irregular shape with numerous bays, narrowings, and islands, most notably Mors, and the smaller ones Fur, Venø, Jegindø, Egholm and Livø. It is deepest at Hvalpsund.

Varde Place

Varde is a Danish city in southwestern Jutland and is the primary city in the municipality of Varde, in Region of Southern Denmark. In 2015 municipality changed its motto to "We in nature" to emphasize its rural atmosphere. The town has an old market environment and is located by Varde stream/river and is a short distance away from the beaches by the North Sea. These features make it a tourist destination. The age of Varde is not known precisely, but it is mentioned in written sources from 1107 A.D. and is therefore thought have been founded sometime in the early Middle Ages.

Vemb is a little town in west Jutland, Denmark with a population of 1,253. The town is close to Nissum Fjord and Storå. Vemb also has a station on the railway line between Ringkøbing and Holstebro. Nørre Vosborg, a manor house surrounded by ramparts, is located 2 kilometers south of the town. It is one of Denmark's oldest manor houses and was mentioned as early as 1299. Vemb lies in Vemb Parish, which belongs to Holstebro Municipality in Region Midtjylland.

Paris is a hamlet belonging to the Lemvig Municipality, located in Jutland in Denmark. It has a population of 12 and eight or nine houses. Residents hold a local festival once a year. The hamlet was visited by comedian Jan Gintberg, who made fun of the inhabitants. It is located 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) from Lemvig on the road to Struer. Dueodde

Dueodde is a beach in Denmark on Bornholm's southernmost tip. It is known for its very fine white sand. The area around Dueodde was originally a large sandy area. In the eighteenth century it was planted with pines, as well as Ammophila and Leymus grasses to reduce sand drift. Today, Dueodde is a protected area. The sand at Dueodde moves easily with the wind to form dunes. The vast dune area and associated sandy beach start at Haslemere extending some 30 kilometres (19 mi) almost without interruption. Apart from the beach, one noteworthy feature is the Dueodde Lighthouse on the southern tip. It is the tallest on the island. Built in 1962, it offers a panoramic view of the surroundings. The two old lighthouses, Dueodde Syd and Dueodde Nord are not open for the public.

N.P. Wieth-Knudsen Observatory

N.P. Wieth-Knudsen Observatory is next to Tisvilde Hegn, two hours away from Copenhagen, Denmark, at Margot Nyholms vej 19, 3220 Tisvildeleje, on the outskirts of a small residential area in Tisvilde, away from artificial light generated by larger cities. It was constructed in 1959 by Dr. Niels Palle Wieth-Knudsen (1909–1993), who used the observatory until his death. His biggest contribution to astronomy was the observation of lunar occultations, during which the moon passes in front of stars, the data from which is then used in the accurate determination of the lunar position. This became important during the moon landings during the sixties.

Nakkehoved Lighthouse Lighthouse in Denmark

Nakkehoved Lighthouse was originally the name for two individual lighthouses above the Nakkehoved cliffs. Since the eastern lighthouse was decommissioned in 1898, the name Nakkehoved lighthouse has come to refer to only the western tower, which is still operational.

Nissum Bredning

Nissum Bredning is the westernmost bredning in the Limfjord situated between Thyborøn Channel, through which the fjord is connected to the North Sea, and Oddesund with Oddesund Bridge. Its size is around 200 km2 and the depth is up to 6 meters. The length from east to west is about 24 km, and from south Gjeller Odde to the north Røjensø Odde is about 10 kilometer; from here it continues as Krik Vig to the north. To the west, at Thyborøn and Harboøre Tange, there are some sandbanks, Fjordgrund and Gåseholm. There is a navigable channel Sælhundeholm Løb, going south from the channel along Agger Tange, passing Rønland with the chemical factory Cheminova, where it turns east.
