Bradley Thomas Holman (born February 9,1968) is an American former professional baseball pitcher.
Holman was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 35th round of the 1990 Major League Baseball Draft out of Auburn University Montgomery. He played 17 games for Low-A Eugene in 1990,but was released on March 29,1991. On April 7,he signed with the Seattle Mariners and was assigned to High-A Peninsula. In 47 games,he had a 6-6 record and a 3.22 ERA. After beginning 1992 with Peninsula,he was promoted to Double-A Jacksonville. In 1993,he made his major league debut after starting the season with the Triple-A Cannons. Holman did not play in the majors in 1994,and he played in Seattle's,Colorado's,and Baltimore's minor league systems in 1995.
Holman began his coaching career in the Mariners' organization as the pitching coach for Low-A Wisconsin in 2002,and held that role through 2004. In 2006,he was the pitching coach for Double-A San Antonio,and for Double-A West Tenn in 2007. In 2008,he served as the pitching coach for the Double-A Altoona Curve in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. During the 2008 off-season Holman signed a contract with the Texas Rangers organization to coach for the Single-A Hickory Crawdads where he coached through 2010. In 2011 he became pitching coach for the Single-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans where he coached through 2012. Then he was promoted to pitching coach in Triple-A with the Round Rock Express where he coached from 2013 through 2015.
On November 5,2015,Holman became the bullpen coach for the Texas Rangers. [1] After the 2017 he was replaced as the Rangers' bullpen coach.
Holman was named as the pitching coach for the Syracuse Chiefs for the 2018 season.
Holman's brother Brian was also a former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Seattle Mariners of the MLB.
John Karl Wetteland is an American former baseball pitcher who played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball (1989–2000). He pitched for four teams:the Los Angeles Dodgers,Montreal Expos,New York Yankees,and Texas Rangers. A relief pitcher,Wetteland specialized as a closer,recording 330 saves during his career. With the Yankees,he won the 1996 World Series over the Atlanta Braves and won the World Series Most Valuable Player Award for saving four games in the series. After his playing career,he served as a coach for the Washington Nationals and Seattle Mariners. In 2019,Wetteland was arrested and indicted on charges of sexually abusing a child under the age of 14.
Christopher Louis Bosio is an American former professional baseball pitcher and pitching coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners from 1986 to 1996. He was listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and 225 pounds (102 kg),and both threw and batted right-handed. Bosio has served as a pitching coach in MLB for the Brewers,Tampa Bay Devil Rays,Chicago Cubs,and Detroit Tigers.
William Joseph Haselman is an American professional baseball coach and former player. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 13 seasons between 1990 and 2003. A first-round selection in the 1987 MLB draft,he played for the Texas Rangers,Seattle Mariners,Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers. He later was the bullpen coach and first base coach for the Red Sox,and currently is the catching coach for the Los Angeles Angels. He has also served as a manager in the minor leagues.
Edward Adrian Guardado is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher and current bullpen coach. Guardado played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins,Seattle Mariners (2004–2006),Cincinnati Reds (2006–2007),and the Texas Rangers. He was named as a bullpen coach for the Minnesota Twins in 2014.

Wilbur Donald Wakamatsu is an American former professional baseball player,scout,coach,and manager. Wakamatsu was drafted in the 11th round of the 1985 Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox. He served as the bench coach of the Texas Rangers from 2018 through 2021. He was hired as bench coach of the Kansas City Royals for the 2014 season. He was the manager of the Seattle Mariners for the 2009 season,as well as the majority of the 2010 season. He was the Toronto Blue Jays' bench coach for 2011 and 2012,after which he was replaced by DeMarlo Hale. During the 2013 season he worked as a scout for the New York Yankees in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The 2008 Seattle Mariners season was the 32nd Major League Baseball season in the team's history. Coming off the heels of the previous 2007 season,in which the M's finished with their first winning record since 2003,the team was widely expected to once again compete for the American League West division championship. The team was bolstered by some major roster additions during the previous offseason,most notably starting pitchers Érik Bédard and Carlos Silva. However,by the end of May,it became apparent that the team had gone back to its losing ways of the 2004–06 seasons. Despite their losing ways,they won their first and last game of the season. Their longest winning-streak of the season is 4 games after a Cleveland sweep at the end of August and a 12-6 win against the Texas Rangers on the first day of September. However,standing at 57-87,their longest losing-streak of the season is 12 games,11 on the road,1 at home,after being swept by the L.A. Angels,Kansas City Royals,Oakland Athletics,and suffering a loss at the last homestand opener against the L.A. Angels. On September 23,the Mariners became the first club to spend $100 million in payroll and lose 100 games. The team finished the season with a 61–101 (.377) record,last in the West for the 4th time in 5 years,and second worst in the majors.
