Brahma Vishnu Maheshwara is a 1988 Indian Kannada-language action drama film, written and directed by Rajachandra and produced by Rohini Pictures. The film had an ensemble cast including Ambareesh, Ananth Nag, V. Ravichandran, Thulasi, Kiran Juneja and Mahalakshmi, while many other prominent actors featured in supporting roles. [1] The soundtrack and score composition were by Vijayanand, and the lyrics along with the dialogues were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. The film was a remake of 1977 Tamil film Chakravarthy which was also remade in Telugu as Mugguru Mithrulu (1985) and in Hindi as Dosti Dushmani (1986).

Antha is a 1981 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, based on H. K. Ananth Rao's serialised story of the same name published for the weekly magazine Sudha. The film stars Ambareesh and Lakshmi, while Shakti Prasad, Lakshman, Vajramuni, Tiger Prabhakar, Sundar Krishna Urs appear in supporting roles. The plot revolves around an honest police officer (Ambareesh) who goes on to impersonate his lookalike, a dreaded criminal, to expose the nexus between the underworld and the establishment.

Chakravyuha is a 1983 Kannada-language political action thriller film directed by V. Somashekhar. The film stars Ambareesh and Ambika. This film marked the entry of popular actor Mukhyamantri Chandru into films. Produced by N. Veeraswamy for Eshwari Productions, this film also starred his son V. Ravichandran in a small role.
