Club career

Clagette spent his youth soccer development with the Atlanta United Academy. On July 13, 2019, Clagette appeared for Atlanta United 2, the USL Championship affiliate of Atlanta United FC, starting in a loss to New York Red Bulls II. [1]

Clagette played collegiate soccer with Northwestern University in the Big Ten Conference of the NCAA Division I. He is an athletic speedy modern Right Back / Right Wingback with the ability to coverage ground defensively while pushing high into the offensive attack. At Northwestern he has appeared in all 51 matches starting 43 over the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons. He was a stalwart player for the Northwestern team, accumulating over 3300 minutes for the 'Cats. Late into the 2024 season, Clagette showed his versatility moving into the forward position, providing a dangerous outlet for a previously impotent Northwestern attack. This allowed for a display of his exceptional speed, agility, and field awareness. The combination of his athleticism with tactical and technical ability on and off the ball makes him an effective player. During his collegiate career the protype right wing back played multiple positions including right fullback, right wingback, right forward, central forward and false 9 attacking midfield/center forward highlighting his versatility.

Clagette spent time competing in the USL2 League with SSA Kings (2021 and 2022) and Chicago City (2024).
