Brandon Hunt is an American football executive who is a front office executive for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to serving with the Eagles, Hunt served with both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans.
Hunt was born in Los Angeles but was raised in Pittsburgh and attended Pine-Richland High School. He also attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he was also a graduate assistant. [1]
After serving at IUP as a graduate assistant for a year, Hunt joined the steelers organization as an Intern. [2]
After his internship, the Texans hired him as Pro Scout. [3]
He was promoted and left for Pittsburgh to be the Pro Scouting Coordinator. A position he served for more than a decade under Kevin Colbert where he was very influential. [4]
After Steelers' General Manager Kevin Colbert resigned and Omar Khan was selected as his replacement instead of Hunt, Hunt joined the Philadelphia Eagles under Howie Roseman to serve as director of scouting. [5] On June 9, 2024, Hunt was promoted to the role of senior director of scouting. [6]
Hunt is married and has two sons. They live in Pittsburgh. [1]

James Leroy Thomas was an American first baseman and right fielder, coach and front-office executive in Major League Baseball (MLB) who played for six teams from 1961 to 1968, most notably the Los Angeles Angels, then went on to a successful tenure as general manager of the Philadelphia Phillies. Traded to the Angels one month after the expansion franchise began play in 1961, he tied for third in Rookie of the Year voting after batting .285 with 24 home runs and 70 runs batted in (RBI), primarily playing in the outfield. The following year, he was named to the American League (AL) All-Star team after shifting to first base, and appeared in both All-Star games played that year as a pinch hitter and late-inning defensive replacement. He finished the year with career highs in batting (.290), home runs (26) and RBI (104), but a sharp decline in 1963 led to his being traded to the Boston Red Sox in mid-1964, the first of four trades before the 1968 season.
Kevin Colbert is a former American football executive. He served as the general manager of Pittsburgh Steelers from 2000 to 2021. Colbert is widely credited with putting together the Super Bowl XL and the Super Bowl XLIII teams in Pittsburgh along with owner Dan Rooney, president Art Rooney II, and coaches Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin.
Tom Modrak was an American football executive who was the general manager for the Philadelphia Eagles from May 1998 until his dismissal in May 2001, and was most recently the Vice President of College Scouting for the Buffalo Bills from 2001 before being relieved of duties on May 4, 2011. Before Philadelphia, he was in charge of scouting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was elected to the Pittsburgh Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
