Brattskarvet Mountain ( 72°6′S1°27′E / 72.100°S 1.450°E / -72.100; 1.450 Coordinates: 72°6′S1°27′E / 72.100°S 1.450°E / -72.100; 1.450 ) is a mountain, 2,100 metres (6,900 ft) high, next north of Vendeholten Mountain in the Sverdrup Mountains of Queen Maud Land. It was photographed from the air by the Third German Antarctic Expedition (1938–39). It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by the Norwegian–British–Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–52) and from air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59) and named Brattskarvet (the "steep mountain").

The Sverdrup Mountains are a group of mountains about 80 km (50 mi) long, standing just west of the Gjelsvik Mountains in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica. With its summit at 2,655 metres (8,711 ft), the massive Mount Krüger forms the highest point in the Sverdrup Mountains.

Barkov Glacier is a glacier draining northeast between Mount Dallmann and the central part of the Shcherbakov Range, in the Orvin Mountains, Queen Maud Land. First photographed and roughly plotted by the Third German Antarctic Expedition, 1938–39, it was mapped from air photos and surveys by the Sixth Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–60, remapped by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 1960–61, and named after Soviet geographer A.S. Barkov.

Brattskarvbrekka Pass is an east-west pass between Brattskarvet Mountain and Vendeholten Mountain, in the Sverdrup Mountains, Queen Maud Land. It was photographed from the air by the Third German Antarctic Expedition (1938–39), and mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by the Norwegian–British–Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–52) and from air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59) and named Brattskarvbrekka.

Nergaard Peak is a peak located 3 nautical miles (6 km) south of Niels Peak in the Gagarin Mountains of Queen Maud Land. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos and surveys by the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–60. Both Nergaard Peak and Niels Peak are named for Niels Nergaard, a scientific assistant with the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–58. Both names were proposed in 1967 by the Norwegian philologist Per Hovda (no) (1908–1997).

Nils Plain is an ice plain of about 25 nautical miles (46 km) extent, lying northward of Mount Roer in the Sverdrup Mountains, Queen Maud Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949–52) and air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59). Jutulrøra Mountain is a prominent mountain 6 nautical miles (11 km) south of Straumsvola Mountain in the western part of the Sverdrup Mountains, overlooking the east side of Jutulstraumen Glacier in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. It was plotted from air photos by the Third German Antarctic Expedition (1938–39), was remapped from surveys and air photos by the Norwegian–British–Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–52) and from air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958–59), and named Jutulrøra.

Gavlen Ridge is a ridge forming the southern extremity of the Roots Heights, in the southern part of the Sverdrup Mountains in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. It was photographed from the air by the Third German Antarctic Expedition, which took place in 1938–39. It was remapped by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 1960–61, and named by them "Gora Granitnaya".

Hansenbreen is a glacier 15 nautical miles (28 km) long, flowing north along the west side of Mount Nils Larsen in the Sør Rondane Mountains of Antarctica. It was roughly mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and remapped by them in greater detail in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47. It was named for Hans Edvard Hansen, a Norwegian cartographer who compiled these and other maps for Norwegian Antarctic expeditions.

Linnormegget Hill is a rock hill 3 nautical miles (6 km) south of the Linnormen Hills in the Payer Mountains of Queen Maud Land, Antarctica.
