The Brava Super Cup (Portuguese: Super Taça da Brava, Capeverdean Creole: ALUPEK: Super Tasa da Braba, Brava Creole: Super Taça Dja Braba) is a regional super cup competition played during the season in the island of Brava, Cape Verde. The competition is organized by the Brava Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol da Brava, ARFB). [1] Its current champions is Académica da Brava who won their only title in 2016. The regional champion competes with the cup champion. If a champion also has a cup title, a cup club who is runner-up qualifies.

Brava is an island in Cape Verde, in the Sotavento group. At 62.5 km2 (24.1 sq mi), it is the smallest inhabited island of the Cape Verde archipelago, but at the same time the greenest. First settled in the early 16th century, its population grew after Mount Fogo on neighbouring Fogo erupted in 1680. For more than a century, its main industry was whaling, but the island economy is now primarily agricultural.

Cape Verde or Cabo Verde, officially the Republic of Cabo Verde, is an island country spanning an archipelago of 10 volcanic islands in the central Atlantic Ocean. It forms part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, along with the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Savage Isles. In ancient times these islands were referred to as "the Islands of the Blessed" or the "Fortunate Isles". Brava Regional Football Association is a football (soccer) association covering the island of Brava. It is headquartered in the island capital of Nova Sintra. The association are one of six in Cape Verde that covers only one municipality. It is the sublevel of the Capeverdean Football Federation.

Several cancellations occurred including in 2011 when all of the regional football competitions were canceled. The 2015 regional cup competition was not held and recently the 2017 competition was canceled due to that the 2016-17 Brava Cup did not take place due to financial or scheduling problems.

The 2018 edition will take place later in the season. It will feature Morabeza and Sporting Brava

Sport Clube Morabeza is a football club in Cape Verde that plays in the Brava Island Division in Cape Verde. It is based in Nova Sintra the island of Brava and plays at Estádio Aquiles de Oliveira where all the clubs from Brava even those based outside the capital play. The club name's etymology is the name predominantly used in Cape Verde and it is used in other music albums and the hotel in the island of Sal. Its current coach is Alfredo Moreira, himself a former player. Together with Sporting, it is Brava's most successful teams.

Sporting Clube da Brava is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Brava Island Division in Cape Verde. It is based in Nova Sintra the island of Brava with its offices located in nearby Lem. Its current coach is Ney Loko. Its nickname is Leões equalling the nickname to Sporting Lisbon and many other Sporting clubs. Its current president is Francisco Oliveira and its coach is Ney Loko.
