The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra is an American symphony orchestra based in College Station, Texas. [1] The orchestra celebrated its 30th season in 2012. [2] [3] It is an affiliate of the Arts Council of Brazos Valley, and a member of the Texas Association of Symphony Orchestras and the League of American Orchestras. Bruce Faulconer is an American musician, composer and record producer. He writes music for orchestra, chamber ensembles, piano, and various instrumental, and choral music groups. Faulconer recently composed, performed, and recorded the music for the feature film, Bystander Theory in 2013. He worked on the feature film score for War and Honor. Faulconer also writes music for feature films and television series including the anime Dragon Ball Z, that has aired on Cartoon Network, it received ratings as the Nielsen Number One Rated show in Children's Programming for Cable TV, see Nielsen Company. Faulconer's Dragon Ball Z music aired on the Cartoon Network version of the series from 1999 to 2008. He is the owner and founder of Faulconer Productions, and CakeMix Recording studio.

Marcelo Bussiki is a Brazilian director and conductor. He currently works with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra in Bryan, Texas. Each year, he conducts a variety of classical concerts of universal appeal in several locations. Since 2006, he is also the Chairman of Fine Arts in Blinn College, Bryan, Texas.

Post Oak Mall is a regional shopping mall in College Station, Texas owned by CBL & Associates Properties. Construction on the mall began in summer 1979 and it opened February 17, 1982. It initially housed 80 stores with four anchors. A second phase, planned before the mall even opened, was completed in 1985, adding more floor space and bringing the mall up to 125 stores and 6 anchor stores. As of 2015, it also houses a small food court and two restaurants. The anchor stores are 2 Dillard's stores, JCPenney, and Conn's. <i>Brazos Belle</i>

Brazos Belle was a 160-foot (49 m) American riverboat constructed for use on the Brazos River in Texas. Permanently docked in Waco, Texas as a restaurant in 1997, the Belle often hosted dinner parties, receptions, and functions for local Greek organizations. Flooding in 2007 badly damaged the boat; although the Belle was refloated, repairs proved uneconomical, and the Brazos Belle was scrapped late in 2008.

Allen Academy is an independent co-educational day school located in Bryan, Texas that was founded in 1886 by John H. and Rivers O. Allen. The 40-acre (16 ha) campus is located seven miles (11 km) northeast of Texas A&M University and enrolls about 340 students from throughout the Brazos Valley. The school is the oldest private school in the state of Texas and is a non-denominational pre-kindergarten through grade 12 school. It is a member of both the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Allen is also the only NAIS member school within a 75-mile (121 km) radius.

Jessica Zhu is a Chinese-American pianist who is currently undertaking a doctorate in musical arts (DMA) under the supervision of Paul Roberts and Caroline Rae at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London. She previously received a Master in Performance (MPerf) and an Artist Diploma with distinction from the Guildhall, where she studied with full scholarship as a 2009 Marshall Scholar.
