William Thomas Stuart Porterfield is an Irish former cricketer and a former captain of the Ireland cricket team. He played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. A left-handed batsman, he played for Ireland from 2006 to 2022, and has captained Ireland at all levels from Under-13 and is considered one of the greatest Irish cricketers of all time. During Afghanistan T20I series in March 2017, he passed 1,000 runs in T20Is and became the first player from Ireland to do so. In May 2018, he was named as the captain of Ireland's squad for their first ever Test match, against Pakistan. He announced his retirement from international cricket on 16 June 2022.
Calum Scott MacLeod is a Scottish professional cricketer. He has represented the Scotland national team since 2008, including at the 2015 World Cup and the 2016 World Twenty20. He has played county cricket in England for Warwickshire and Durham. In January 2019, MacLeod was named the ICC Associate Player of the Year at the 2018 ICC Awards.

The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament.
Bready Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in the village of Magheramason, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The ground is owned by the Bready Cricket Club. The ground became Ireland's fourth venue for international cricket along with The Village in Malahide, Dublin, Ireland; Castle Avenue in Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland, and the Civil Service Cricket Club Ground in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Mark Robert James Watt is a Scottish cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Ireland on 18 June 2015. He made his List A debut in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 31 July 2015 against Nepal. On 5 February 2016 he took his first five-wicket haul in a T20I match, picking up five wickets for 27 runs against the Netherlands in the UAE. He made his first-class debut in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 9 August 2016 against the United Arab Emirates. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Hong Kong on 8 September 2016.
Roland Black is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He has been an umpire since 2006. He was added to ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel in 2016.
William Timothy Edward Smale is a Welsh cricketer. He made his first-class debut for North West Warriors in the 2019 Inter-Provincial Championship on 12 August 2019 in Ireland. Prior to his first-class debut, he played for the Ireland under-19 cricket team in the Division 1 Europe Qualifier of the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup qualification tournament. He was the leading run-scorer for the team in the tournament, with 185 runs in five matches.
