Brenda Castro is a Costa Rican beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Costa Rica 2015 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. She also represented Costa Rica at Miss Grand International 2019 in Caracas.

Career

Castro began modeling at age 15. [1]

Castro had previously won Señorita Expo-Pococí 2008, Miss Teenager Costa Rica 2011, Miss Latinoamérica Costa Rica 2014 and Señorita Verano Costa Rica 2015. She was also second runner-up Miss Teenager International 2011 and third runner-up Miss Latinoamerica International 2014. [1]

Castro won Miss Costa Rica representing Limon, in La Sabana and broadcast on Teletica, She crowned by Karina Ramos, Miss Universe Costa Rica 2014. As Miss Costa Rica, she competed at Miss Universe 2015 on 20 December 2015, and was unplacemed. [2] [3]

In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.

Nuestra Belleza México 2010, the 17th annual Nuestra Belleza México beauty pageant, was held at the Auditorio Parque Las Maravillas in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on September 25, 2010. The State of Jalisco, won for the third consecutive year with Karin Ontiveros, who later competed in Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil. The Miss Honduras or Miss Honduras Universe is a national beauty pageant in Honduras. The pageant was founded in 1930, where the winners were sent to Miss Universe.

Angenie Anamaria Simon is a Curaçaoan model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Curaçao 2009 and went to the Miss Universe 2009 in The Bahamas, and the Miss World 2010 in Sanya, People's Republic of China. Reinas de Costa Rica is a national beauty pageant in Costa Rica that selects representatives to the Miss World and Miss International pageant. After the Miss Costa Rica pageant stopped sending contestants to the Miss World and Miss International pageants in 2006, the franchise was acquired by the Reinas de Costa Rica organization presided by Alan Aleman. Karina Ramos Leiton is a Costa Rican tv host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2014 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2014. She's also the CEO, and owner of the modeling agency Imagination Agency S.A., created by her for preparing future beauty pageant candidates.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Costa Rica</span> National beauty pageant in Costa Rica

Miss Grand Costa Rica is a San José-based female national beauty pageant in Costa Rica, organized separately for in first time in 2022 by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, with Erick Solis as the president. The winner of the contest represents the country at its parent competition, the Miss Grand International pageant. Before 2022, the competition license belonged to different organizers, such as the Reinas de Costa Rica organization (2015 – 2017) and the Miss Costa Rica organization (2018 – 2021). Most of the country's representatives at the Miss Grand International pageant during such a period were appointed without organizing the respective pageant.
