The UCLA Bruins are the athletic teams that represent the University of California, Los Angeles. The Bruin men's and women's teams participate in NCAA Division I as part of the Big Ten Conference and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). He was a member of the United States national indoor team in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He was a middle blocker. He also played beach volleyball at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens with partner Dain Blanton.
Douglas Scott "Dusty" Dvorak is an American former volleyball player. He was a member of the United States national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He is regarded as one of the greatest setters of all time.
David Patrick Saunders is an American former volleyball player and two-time Olympian. He was a member of the United States national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and was named one of the outstanding players of the tournament. Four years later, when Seoul hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics, he once again won a gold medal.
Bryan Eric Ivie is an American former volleyball player and two-time Olympian. Ivie was a member of the United States national volleyball team that won the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He was a middle blocker.

She won a bronze medal with the USA National Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. She also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, finishing in seventh place.
Debbie Green-Vargas is an American retired volleyball player and coach. She is regarded as the greatest American women's volleyball setter of all time. Green-Vargas was a member of the United States women's national volleyball team and won a silver medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
Marvin Alex Dunphy is an American former volleyball player and head coach. He is most known for his time at Pepperdine University. During his tenure, Pepperdine won four NCAA Division I Championships. His career record is 612–277 (.688). He also led the United States men's national volleyball team to the gold medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics. He retired from coaching in 2017.
Taylor Lee Sander is an American professional beach volleyball player and former indoor volleyball player. As a member of the U.S. national team, he won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2018 World Championship. The 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup winner.
Erik Thomas Shoji is an American professional volleyball player who plays as a libero for ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and the U.S. national team. Shoji was a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016, Paris 2024 and the 2018 World Championship; the 2014 World League and 2015 World Cup winner, and a two–time Champions League winner with ZAKSA.
The 2016 NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 47th annual tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I and Division II men's collegiate indoor volleyball. The single elimination tournament was played at Rec Hall in University Park, Pennsylvania from May 3–7, 2016.

He was a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team, representing Canada in the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. He also was a gold medallist at the 2015 NORCECA Championship, and a bronze medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games and a bronze medalist at the 2017 World League where he ranked statistically as the top setter.
Douglas Correia de Souza is a Brazilian volleyball player, former member of the Brazil men's national volleyball team, 2016 Olympic Champion, silver medallist of the 2014 World Championship, gold medallist of the 2019 World Cup, two–time South American Champion. On the club level, he plays for Farma Condé Vôlei.
The 2017 NCAA National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 48th edition of the NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Championship, open to teams from both Division I and II. The tournament was held May 2, 4, & 6 at St. John Arena in Columbus, Ohio, hosted by Ohio State University. The Ohio State Buckeyes won their second consecutive National Championship and third overall.
