Brendon Fewster (born 4 January 1974) is an Australian rules footballer. He played for both the West Coast Eagles and the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL and West Perth in the WAFL, mainly as a full forward.

Fremantle Football Club Australian rules football club

The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club represents and was previously based in the port city of Fremantle at the mouth of the Swan River in Western Australia and now has their training and headquarters at Cockburn ARC in Cockburn Central. In 1995 it became the second team from Western Australia after the West Coast Eagles to be admitted to the AFL, honouring the rich footballing tradition and history associated with Fremantle.

He was drafted from West Perth to the Eagles with the 3rd selection in the 1995 AFL Draft after Clive Waterhouse and Matthew Primus. During four seasons at West Coast he struggled to maintain a place in the side, playing only 33 games, with no more than 14 in a season. At the end of the 1999 season, he was traded to Fremantle in return for the 16th selection in the 1999 AFL Draft, which the Eagles used to draft David Haynes. [1] After a career high 20 games in 2000, Fewster again struggled to maintain his position in the AFL and was delisted by Fremantle at the end of the 2002 season. [2]

Clive Waterhouse is a former Australian rules footballer. He played in the Australian Football League (AFL) for the Fremantle Football Club as a half-forward flanker.

Matthew Richard Primus is a former coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club and Australian rules footballer, captain and All Australian ruckman. He is currently an assistant coach at the Gold Coast Football Club.

David Haynes is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the West Coast Eagles and Geelong in the Australian Football League (AFL), and East Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFL).

Fewster continued to play for West Perth in the WAFL until the end of the 2005 season, when he retired having played over 100 games for the Falcons, including three premierships in 1995, 1999 and 2003. [3] In 2004 he was named at full forward of West Perth's Team of the Decade. [4]

Over the next seasons, shoulder and groin injuries restricted his time on the field, but in 2011 he took up a different role in the team, kicking 41 goals playing as a forward. Nicoski also represented Australia in the 2011 International Rules Series. However, after serious injuries, including a torn hamstring during the final of the 2012 pre-season tournament, he did not play at AFL level over the following two seasons. Having played 112 games for West Coast, Nicoski retired from the AFL at the end of the 2013 season.

Dale Mathew Kickett is a former Australian rules footballer. He is one of only three players to have played for five clubs in the Australian Football League.

Desmond Edmond Headland, Jr is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for Subiaco in the West Australian Football League and a conservative political candidate. An inaugural West Coast squad member, Brennan played mainly at full-back. He played in West Coast's 1992 and 1994 premiership sides, and won the Best Clubman award in 1995, his final season. Brennan was named in both West Coast's Team of the Decade and Team 20, as well as East Fremantle's Team of the Century, named in 1997. His son, Jacob Brennan, was selected by a West Coast as a father-son selection in the 2010 National Draft, and made his debut in round five of the 2012 season.

In part due to these injury concerns, he was overlooked in the 2010 National Draft, despite having been considered likely to be drafted in the early rounds. Wilson was subsequently invited to train with West Coast during the pre-season, and was drafted by the club with the second selection in the following month's 2011 Pre-season Draft.
