Brent Ryan Green (born March 19, 1984) is an American film director and producer.

Career

Green has produced several films, the first of which was Beyond the Gates of Splendor (2002). In January 2009, Green founded Toy Gun Films [1] with Jeff Goldberg and in 2011, had his directorial debut with the 2011 short film Paper Flower . He followed this film up with two additional shorts, Half Good Killer and Running Deer, the latter of which starred Booboo Stewart. [2] [3] [4] Running Deer was filmed in Oklahoma and screened at the DeadCENTER Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize for short film. [5] [6]

His feature film directorial debut, The Veil , was released two years later in 2013. [7] [8] Filming for The Veil took place in Oklahoma, a location that Green chose specifically while developing the project. [9]

Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival (BITS) is an annual film festival in Canada. It was founded by Kelly Micheal Stewart in 2012 as an offshoot of his then ongoing monthly film series entitled "Fright Nights at the Projection Booth" which were held at the former Projection Booth theater in Toronto, Ontario. With a considerable number of Canadian films all vying for a spot in the showcase, Stewart decided to put together the first edition of what would become a yearly film festival that replaced the monthly series. After a first edition entitled "Fright Nights :Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival weekend", Stewart shortened the name and re-imagined the construct of the festival, bringing on a programming team and sharpening its focus with the aim of promoting, spotlighting and helping to develop the independent contemporary genre filmmaking community across Canada. The festival has branched off in its efforts to become visible all year round with a public access television interview show and a podcast.

<i>The Vast of Night</i> 2019 American science fiction film

The Vast of Night is a 2019 American science fiction mystery film directed by Andrew Patterson. It was co-produced and written by Patterson and Craig W. Sanger. The story takes place in 1950s New Mexico and is loosely based on the Kecksburg UFO incident and Foss Lake disappearances. The film follows young switchboard operator Fay Crocker and radio disc jockey Everett Sloan as they discover a mysterious audio frequency that could be extraterrestrial in origin.

The 2022 Oklahoma Senate general election were held on November 8, 2022. The primary elections for the Republican, Democratic, and Libertarian parties' nominations took place on June 28, 2022. Runoff primary elections, if no candidate received 50% in the June 28 vote, took place on August 23. All candidates had to file between the days of April 13–15, 2022. Oklahoma voters elected state senators in 24 of the state's 48 Senate districts. State senators served four-year terms in the Oklahoma Senate.
