Brett Leonard Climo (born 26 September 1964) is an Australian film, television and stage actor. He is best known for playing Peter Healy in the soap opera Sons and Daughters and George Bligh in a A Place to Call Home . [1]
Climo was born to parents Nancy and Ray in Sydney in 1959. [2] His father died of a stroke when he was three years-old and he was raised by his mother and grew up with two older sisters, Annette and Deanne in Sydney]. [2] His mother married his stepfather, David, when Climo was 11 years-old. [2]

In the 1980s and early 1990s, he had early roles in the Australian soap operas; Sons and Daughters , A Country Practice and The Flying Doctors .
In 2013, he was cast as George Bligh, the romantic lead alongside Marta Dusseldorp in the 1950s dynasty drama, A Place to Call Home . [1]

A Place to Call Home is an Australian television drama series, created by Bevan Lee for the Seven Network, which premiered in 2013. Set in rural New South Wales after World War II, it follows Sarah Adams, who has returned to Australia after twenty years abroad to start a new life and ends up clashing with wealthy matriarch Elizabeth Bligh. The main cast also includes Brett Climo, Craig Hall, David Berry, Abby Earl, Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood, Aldo Mignone, Sara Wiseman, Jenni Baird, Tim Draxl, and Frankie J. Holden. The show was cancelled after its second season, but obtained further funding and concluded successfully after a total of six seasons in 2018.
Vikki Blanche is an Australian actress and director. She made her television debut in the children's series Home in 1983, followed by a role in the ABC drama The Keepers. Shortly after graduating from the National Theatre in late 1984, Blanche was cast as Julie Robinson in the soap opera Neighbours, which began airing in March 1985. After seven months she decided to leave the serial so she would not be typecast in the future. Blanche joined the cast of The Flying Doctors as Paula Patterson in 1988. She also appeared in the sitcom Col'n Carpenter and the 1991 miniseries Rose Against the Odds. Blanche then spent 18 months living and studying acting in New York City. Upon her return to Australia, she was cast as Senior Detective Chris Faithful in the second season of the ABC police drama Phoenix.
