Brian Guiliana in an American college baseball coach and former outfielder. He played college baseball for George Washington Revolutionaries from 1993 to 1996 for head coach Jay Murphy. Guiliana was the head baseball coach at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) from 2013 to 2018.

On June 20, 1991, Guiliana committed to play baseball at George Washington. [1] Guiliana served as captain and leading the Colonials in home runs in his senior season. From 2006 through 2010, he served as a scout for the Florida Marlins, covering the New Jersey and the northeast. He worked as the only full-time assistant coach at NJIT in 2011 and 2012, handling recruiting and on field duties, and took over as head coach after the firing of Mike Cole. In all of his seasons, he has led the Highlanders to 20 wins or more. [2] [3] [4] On August 23, 2018, Guiliana stepped down as the head coach at NJIT. [5]

The NJIT Highlanders, formerly the New Jersey Tech Highlanders, are the varsity sport members of the Division I NCAA-affiliated sports teams of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). There are ten men's teams, seven women's teams, and three club teams along with a variety of intramural teams. The school's primary conference is the America East Conference. In November 2017 NJIT opened the Wellness and Events Center (WEC) which incorporates upgraded facilities for most Division 1 sports including a 3,500-seat arena for basketball and volleyball.

Jim Engles is an American college basketball coach and current coach of the Columbia Lions men's basketball team. He is the former head men's basketball coach at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He replaced Jim Casciano. In Engles' first season (2008), the NJIT Highlanders snapped their Division I-record 51-game losing streak with a win over Bryant. Under Engles, NJIT reached the CIT semifinals in both 2015 and 2016. Engles had been an assistant coach at Columbia before taking over as head coach at NJIT.

Pedro Lopes is a retired American soccer player who coached the NJIT Highlanders men's soccer team. He played professionally in the USISL.

In a season limited by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they finished the season 7–12, 6–10 in America East play to finish in eighth place. They lost to Albany in the first round of the America East tournament.
